Her name is Daisy & her lasting legacy is the result of one little old ladys love affair with a car she bought new Sept 27, 1969 for $2640.05 You would be hard pressed to locate another vehicle 40+ years old with so much paperwork proving where the car has been, its maintence records, original bill of sale, window sticker, build sheet, owners manual & even a letter writen to Lee Iacocca praising her vehicle in 1990. The odometer shows 32K miles and if the paperwork was not here you might believe that was original miles but she took such good care of Daisy she managed 132K. When she passed away in Oct 2008 she left the car to her grandson in South Carolina. He loved the car as a young boy and he had the motor rebuilt as he understood how special the car was and felt it was worth saving. Grandma Balikov had a long love affair with Daisy that is proven by her meticulous hand written records, saving every reciept and piece of paper involved with the car that will be as fun to go thru as owning this car!
