Up for auction is a 1965 Galaxie 500 LTD. This is the first year for the LTD. The car shows it has 61309 miles, which I believe to be original for its condition. This car comes equiped with the original 352 v8 and transmission. There is paperwork showing the car came from Washington and has the original manual. I also have the original valve covers, air cleaner, intake manifold, jack and hub caps. This is one of the most soild galaxies I have seen. There is no rust anywhere and the frame is in great condition. It appears to have had a repaint approximately 10-15 years ago. It has a few imperfections in the paint (rock chips and minor scratches) but still shines really nice. The bumpers and trim is all there and straight, but does need to be rechromed. The wheels are 15x8 Cragars and are in decent shape but does have minor pitting. I recently replaced the intake with a Edelbrock unit and did a minor tuneup. The motor runs great and does not smoke. I also recently had the transmission serviced with a filter and new fluid, but it now has developed a small leak. It did not leak before and I need to take it back to the shop and have them look at it. The interior is all original and in decent condition. There is a small tear in the passenger side seat and the dash pad needs replaced. The door panels and headliner is in good condition. A cd unit has been added along with aftermarket gauges. I have only hooked up the temp gauge due to the hot weather. I need to sell to help fund my Charger I recently bought.
