For Sale, another MGB - There are so many out there for all sorts of prices so here is why I think mine is worth the time to look at... You buy the car because its a classic, parts are abundant, if someone knows how the make the car run properly - then they will last for years of dependable fun! The best years are 1966-1974. Dual SU carbs, simplicity in design, maintenance and styling. I believe this car has everything that makes it reliable, sporty, and easy to maintain. Rebuilt engine - unleaded head. Dual SU carbs New Dual downpipe exhaust, muffler tailpipe (all the way back) New Neoprene bushings complete front suspension rebuilt New radiator, cooling system and fans New brakes, drums, rotors and pads New tune up parts Resealed transmission with new clutch New master cylinder/slave cylinder New fuel pump New top New wire wheels and tires New parking brake cables New speedo drive Clean, crack free seats and interior in excellent condition New turn signal switch/all electrics gone through properly (never been modified) New shocks Rear differential sealed New U joints Aluminum valve cover SU/K&N performance air filters Electronic ignition Starter and alternator remanufactured This car belongs to my friend - he loves MG's. He put alot of time and money in this car doing it the right way. It's been and is a very dependable car. About 2 years ago he was diagnosed with cancer and asked me to go through the car and sell it for him. The tags went dead this month, and we are dropping the insurance and putting it up for auction. I have receipts for over $6,500 to back up the repairs listed. I have been driving the car and temperatures good, oil pressure perfect, no smoke or leaks. The car is smooth and quiet with that British roar through the countryside. The negatives to this car - needs to be repainted, there is some rust on lower fenders and rockers (although the floors are good), and it needs wiper blades.
