Vehicle Detail
I wanted to do big things to my probe, but things went wrong and i'm out of money. It has a strong motor, good tranny, and a relatively sound clutch (minor slip at high rpm when driving hard). It has a great body and nearly no rust. Spot of rust on inside of door. Bottom of car has nearly no rust for it being 16 years old. It has a high flow fuel pump, and is a 5 speed. The bad, it has no exhaust besides a 2.5" catback, there is a fuel leak at the fuel rail, can't be driven, and ecu needs spliced at a few wires. Overall, with the right repairing, it can be a great daily driver. It shouldn't much more than a new fuel rail, and oem exhaust system. There are 82000 miles on the motor, and 146000 approximately on the body. Because this is a parts only car, I don't really want to deal with a title, but since it is clear, if you would want one I can include it. TITLE IS CLEAR. The interior is stripped out behind the drivers seat back, but the person who buys will get all of the interior parts in the deal. The interior isn't in great condition, but can be used on other probes needing something better than nothing. http://images.craigslist.org/5Nb5F85Mc3F63L33N3c7d03866f09fbec190e.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/thumb/5E95F35M63Ed3I43J8c7d213a58a5b6c61c79.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/thumb/5I35T05He3Id3M83J5c7d59a5239f9d851321.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/thumb/5Ld5Ke5W23L73pb3Hdc7d634153005c0513d9.jpg On Jul-15-12 at 04:02:36 PDT, seller added the following information: FYI, The front bumper was trimmed slightly to compensate for my intercooler. It also says student driver on it it stick on letters (see pictures). If you want to see it in its present state, let me know just a heads up, the oil pan will need to be replaced due to being tapped for my oil drain. I have a cap I can include sealing up the hole in the oil pan making it easily usable. Also, I haven't taken the oil feed for the turbo off, so whoever buys the car and wants to take out the engine or fix up the car, you have to go to the OPSU and take out the tee and put the OPSU back where it goes.
