If I had to have a daily driver again (this car actually HAS been my daily driver for over 400 miles!), this version of the S70 would be my choice! Considering it's age, it's only been driven for LESS than 10k miles a year! Great looking. Spoiler. ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING. Heated cloth seats. Newer Goodyear Tires. Non-Turbo for big time gas mileage. One owner! NO RESERVE!! Can your choice BE any easier? Turn-key ready to go. As stated, I've logged over 400 personal miles on this fresh Volvo dealer trade-in. Absolute joy to drive. Not a single problem or issue to be disclosed, stated, or noted. A car like this is my favorite to sell because you can see and feel the proper maintenance everywhere. Altho the exterior could still use a professional detail to remove some light scratches and scuffs, it looks great and still displays a nice shine. My cellphone Autocheck shows the car to be one owner with Zero accidents. I'm no bodyman, but I can't see any signs of any major repairs or leftover damages. The nose/hood have minimal typical rockchips. No cracks/damages to the front bumper cover, altho the lower middle and right plastic grills are missing. Easily replaced if desired. Below you can see the nearly new Goodyear Assurance tires on every corner. These ride on clean vibration-free rims. The remainder of the exterior looks great. Overall I'd say an easy 8.5 out of 10. Buff and wax it, and that number only goes up! Only and handfull of dings and a few lower tiny dents below the doorstrip trim. I tried to take pics, but they were too small to display. Most of the dings can easily be dentbusted if desired. Absolutely ZERO visible rust to be found on the car! The rear bumper cover, like the front, also has the typical scuffs and scratches. Again, buffing will easily remove most of them. Hard to see, but few inch radius on the center top area of bumper cover has some bubbling paint. "Grossinger" badge is free with the car! Trunklid and spoiler look great. Antenna is fixed in this position but still picks up radio stations just fine. Below you can see a light DIMPLE in the body panel. This would be one of the small repairable dings in the body I spoke of. Note the newness of the rear tires. Engine compartment is nice and clean. I can't say where this car was regularly serviced, but I CAN say it was a Euro car Volvo facility. These shops aren't a dealer, but a Volvo specialist of sorts. Rather than Volvo only parts, I see the MANN versions, which are the aftermarket Volvo replacement standards without the Volvo price. Air filter, oil filter, etc. Strong reliable recent Interstate battery is also a sign of quality. I removed worn NGK spark plugs and replaced with new. Upper motor mount is an aftermarket (better) poly-urethane unit. Fresh oil and filter change. The car doesn't appear to have and major oil or coolant leaks as it's not leaking a drop of anything on my shop floor. No overheating. The engine starts up and runs perfectly. Very strong for a Non-turbo version. Timing belt looks correct and solid. Right on par with an 80k change leaving it with approximately 20k left before it's next servicing. Transmission shifts properly as it should. Brakes are strong with no pulsing. Car drives straight and smooth with no suspension noises, unusual pulling or wandering while driving. The ONLY thing the car will need is an outer CV Boot replaced on the passenger side. Just called AutoZone and it's $52 for a WHOLE Reman CV halfshaft. It's actually easier to replace the whole shaft anyway. No, the CV joint isn't making any noise. I only disclose what I know and see. Yes, it can wait until later to replace. Yes, it will be fine for your trip home after purchase. Sorry for the dark interior pics. My camera wasn't agreeing with the late hours. I assure you the interior is easily a 9.5 out of 10! Honestly, I can't find a single thing to mention. Maybe just the typical button wear on the window and climate control switches. The cloth interior is in next to perfect condition. No holes, cuts, tears or repairs. Even the driver's bolster is unworn. Front seats are heated and the driver's is fully power adjustable. Just wait until you hop in the car, as I have, on a boiling hot day. Absolutely no leg burn on the seats! Fure up the car and 2 blocks later, ICE COLD AIR!! Don't forget how nice the cloth is versus the leather come winter too! Steering wheel is even clean. I'm not a smoker and I hate smoke, but I don't see or smell any signs of a previous smoker in this car. As you can see, there are ZERO lights on while running and ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup as they should. ALL the power items work as they should, power seat, power windows, mirrors, locks. ICE COLD AC, heat, dual climate control, radio, cruise, heated seats/mirrors, etc. No worries. Notice how hot it was at 8:30 at night! Boiling lately. Above, you can see the complete factory floormats are included. Nice with only a few stains but completely functional. Unseen, the complete spare tire setup is intact, aired up and ready for your trip home. Again, sorry for the dark pics, but I assure you, the carpet and doorpanels are as clean as the rest of the interior. Below you can see the complete factory manuals and one key are included. Sorry, no keyless keyfob. This car will make a superb daily driver. Perfect for a teen, especially for cheap insurance. Get out of that car payment and buy this car.
