For sale is my loved VW Caddy pickup with a 1.6L DIESEL engine and a 5 SPEED manual transmission. This truck runs and looks great, it has a rebuilt engine, new CV joints, new reupholstered red seats, red carpet, red door panels, new steering wheel, aftermarket wheels, good tread on tires, black dash, new front windshield (not a single chip or crack), custom made rear bumper, sprayed in bed liner, new floor mats, tie down hooks in bed, manual windows, manual locks, paint is less then a year old and the body is very straight, aftermarket CD player, coolant temp gauge, and all no electrical problems! The bed is in great shape considering its age, and the tail gate opens and closes as it should, these little trucks are getting harder and harder to find especially ones with no rust! THE TOWERS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE! AND YES, THIS PICKUP DOES GET 50 MPG!!! I have over 15 new photos of the pickup. The undercarriage, tailgate, floor pans, door seals, fenders and more.Question-Will this be a problem free truck for me for the next 10 years?Answer- Lets be reasonable here, this is a 31 year old pickup that runs great and has never failed on me but, you need to be a realist and remember that things do wear out and do break. This is not a 2012 GMC Sierra with a 100,000 mile warranty and I do not treat it as such. I have triple A auto insurance just in case if something ever happens, and if you plan on driving this pickup across country I would recommend that you get it as well. I do however drive this pickup on a bi-weekly basis for fishing and it has made the trip each time with no problems. This is a great running pickup and I can honestly say I would drive it 500 plus miles without blinking a eye but I would not do it without some kind of insurance. Question-Hows the shifting? Answer-It shifts in all 5 gears, but 1st gear and 2nd gear are hard to find, a new shift kit would fix that problem (they cost $30.00) but after a day of driving the pickup around I now have no problem finding those gears. There is no grinding noise and the transmission and clutch are fine. I need all bidders to understand that this is not a brand new pickup and I will not present it as such. This is just my fishing truck that I'm selling due to the fact that this pickup was never designed to tow a boat.
