This auction is for a Model T Ford Roadster. The California title shows it as a 1925. The engine number is 11572015 which shows as a 1925 on the Model T production number lists. Please see all the pictures and look at them closely. This car is all there but shows wear from years of driving. The last registration expired in December 2011. I have a California pink slip (title) signed off by the previous owner in February of 2012. The body is solid and sound. I don't see any rust through in the body. There are spots missing paint. All the fenders have at least one crack in the metal. The right rear fender was hit and pounded out roughly and is missing paint in that area. The turtle deck is in good condition and the lid opens with a key. The wood below the rear deck still looks good. The seat upholstry is rough with tears in it around the edges mostly. The top appears to be all there but has holes and tears in it. The top bows have warps in them. The fabric of the top has separated all the way across the top of the seat back. It has a running board lift up luggage holder on the drivers side and a Ford script step plate on the passenger side. The engine appears to have been rebuilt at one time because it has .030 oversize aluminum pistons in it and has good compression. It has an aftermarket modern distributor, alternator, new intake manifold, new exhaust manifold, new exhaust pipe, new muffler, new gas tank, and a Brassworks radiator. All of these newer parts appear to have been put on a few years ago. The battery is good and holds a charge. It leaks oil in all the usual Model T places. There is a coil box still attached to the firewall. The car starts and runs pretty well. It moves around my yard well with the low, high, reverse, and brakes all working. The tires are all bad including the spare. They are cracked and have little or no tread left and will need to be replaced. But they are holding air. The wheels are 21 inch. The wood wheels have a couple of minor loose spokes in each one but are still serviceable. This car has a large drum rear end. There is some newer wiring in the car but it is not all hooked up properly. The alternator is charging the battery but the wiring is not hooked up to the amp meter. None of the lights are hooked up or working. The wiring needs to be hooked up correctly. This Model T Ford Roadster is sold as is. No warranty is expressed or implied. This car will not be released until all funds clear my bank. The car will need to be picked up within approximately 2 weeks of end of auction. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.
