Each vehicle is road tested before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each vehicle runs and drives. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service facility. Each vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions or bidding. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 Saturn SL2. For those who follow my auctions, you will know that I sell quite a few Saturns. You will also see that I never buy a Saturn with the SOHC engine (SL1. SC1 and SW1). Todays auction is for a 99 SL2. This example is fairly well optioned for a Saturn with makes it an attractive buy. I would rate the exterior of this Saturn to be in AVERAGE condition. The clearcoat is flaking on the spoiler which is a normal GM issue. The rest of the car looks pretty good. There are no major dents, scratches or scuffs worth mentioning. Please expect some normal wear for a vehicle of this age on bumpers, ect. There is a small amount of rust in the left rear door jamb which is common. All of the glass appears to be intact. The tires have good tread all around and wrap a set of optional factory alloy wheels. I would rate the interior of this Saturn to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition. The door panels are all clean and tight. The carpets show well for the age of the vehicle. The seats also show very well and are comfortable to drive in. The headliner is clean, showing only the beginnings of sagging in two small spots. This Saturn is optioned with power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof. Additionally, this sedan is equipped with cruise control and traction control. The climate control system is working properly. The air conditioner does not blow cold. The stereo is the original Saturn sound system and sounds really, really good. It has remote entry (dead battery). The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Saturn appears to be in good condition. The sturdy 1.9L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks. The suspension and steering both feel tight and responsive as they should. The brakes stop this Saturn well. The transmission engages smoothly and gear changes are as they should be. During my time driving this Saturn, it has displayed excellent road manners. The temperature stays cool and there were no warning lights on. I have owned many of these cars. GM had some pretty sloppy internal tolerances in their engines making some run like dogs. This SL2 runs like a raped ape. It is hands down the quickest automatic SL2 I've ever owned. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 Saturn SL2. For those who follow my auctions, you will know that I sell quite a few Saturns.
