U.S. bidders ONLY! This is the LAST time I will list this car, if it doesn't sell I guess I'll hang on to it. This is a rare 1941 DeSoto Town Sedan, fewer than 4,000 produced. The interior on this car is original and in amazing shape for it's age. I believe steam cleaning would do wonders on it. There are no holes or tears in the upholstery that I have noticed. It is by far the nicest part of the car. The engine is the original inline 6 flat head. The car has NOT ran for about 5 years, when it did it was on a bottle as the fuel line has rotted away. I have recently tried to get it started but I only got a few pops out of her. The engine does turn over but the spark is weak. I do not have the time to get it running otherwise I would. As for the body it has a lot of surface rust on the roof and the usual rust spots here and there. The floor pan has some rust through as well as the trunk pan, mostly in the spare tire well and all very repairable. Of course the chrome is shot but most of the stainless bright work is still there. This car is equiped with the "Clunk -O- Matic" or Fluid Drive transmission. It is a manual but it can be driven as an automatic. I cannot comment on the drive-ability of this car as I have never really driven it other than in the garage where it has sat for about 5 years now. I do have a clear title. I would like to keep this thing and get it running again but I just simply don't have the time for it and I don't have the heart to part it out or junk it. I had a lot of people interested in this car and several saying they want to buy it but no one yet has come up with any cash or they just want to low ball the price.
