This vehicle is 40 years oldUp For Sale/Auction is the 3rd 1971 VW bus that i have owned.ive never owned any other year. this thing is mechanically sound and is alot of fun to driveif i was going to do anything to it i would put new tires on it and work on the interior/exteriorthe pictures show the problem areas in terms of rustit looks like it was undercoated at one point and is not in terrible shapethere are a few areas the could use some attention but this bus is structurally sound i just use this bus as a joy riding/ fun vehiclesometimes its used everyday of the week, other times it sits for weeksit starts up everytime and is hard to stop driving once it stops(no the brakes aren't bad, its just fun to drive)mechanically everything is fine and works great the pop to canvas and springs are missing, as well as tons of other stuff....this thing would probably be worth over $2000 in parts alone i dont want to sell it bad enough to even consider any low ball offersthanks for looking and please check out my other auctions(i mostly sell limited edition concert posters,but once in a while i'll sell a phish or grateful dead related shirt) thanks again p.s please dont message me asking if you and your just graduated high school buddies could take this to california and would it make it and .....(im not saying dont make the trip, i just dont want to be held responsible)
