I am selling a, 1972 MB350SL. This is the 4537 car shipped to North America, It was built in Germany. The color is Tobacco Brown with Arabian Sand hub caps and hard top. The car has a 200hp V8 and is a blast to drive. The car is presently inspected, registered and insured. My 104 year old grandmother bought the car off the lot and due to her age only accumulated 38,038 miles before it was left in the garage for the next 20yrs, this has to be one of the lowest milage 350SL's on the road. In the past year it has been suffering from water damage as it has been outside. I would love to restore this car, it could be one of the best 350SL examples on the road, unfortunately I am unable to dedicate the time and recourses to do so. The car has some electrical issues (the fuel gauge works intermittently), it is in need of a paint job, rubber seals, and the canvass roof needs replacement. Their are other minor cosmetic issues which I would be happy to go over. The oil has been changed annually regardless of usage. The power windows have always worked flawlessly (not bad for a '72!). The passenger door needs a new handle as does the handle to retract the top (although the top is still operable). This car has been used very lightly, and has a potentially long life ahead of it.
