My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of buying a vehicle. I buy vehicles traded at larger dealerships and resell them directly to the public. Each of the vehicles I sell are road tested before being offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of each vehicle's condition. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions or bidding. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 BMW 740iL. I have owned more of these than I can count. They are great vehicles. The advantage the BMW 7 series has over the Mercedes S Class is their simplicity. These are relatively inexpensive to maintain and operate. This example is presented in Oxford Green Metallic over tan leather interior in the long frame version which makes this a very desirable BMW. I would rate the exterior condition of this BWW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking vehicle. The Oxford Green finish shines well and looks good from any angle. The only visible damage on this vehicle is a loose grill insert which is common with all BMW's. Aside from a few normal flaws from age, there really isn't anything bad to say about the looks of this BMW. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look good. The tires are average at best. The automatic trunk opens and closes properly. There are nearly 100 photos of this gorgeous BMW. Please review the photos inside and out. These are condition cars...meaning I buy them on condition over miles. This car is good for nearly half a million miles when properly serviced. As these cars begin to age, condition is the best "tell" of whether or not the car has been maintained. I would rate the interior condition of this BMW 740iL to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and miles of this vehicle. As you open the drivers door, you are greeted by a graciously appointed interior. The door cards are all clean and tight. The wood veneers show very well for their age throughout the interior of this car. A complete set of BMW original floor mats are included. The floor mats are in good condition as are the carpets beneath them. The leather seats all show well and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. All four windows are one touch operated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. The stereo system is the original unit with CD changer in the trunk. The climate control is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The air conditioning blows ice cold air. There are also steering wheel controls for your convenience. All five shades are present in the rear which is extremely uncommon. The trunk is spacious and clean. A spare and the original tool kit is included. What you don't see right away is the barrel full of safety and convenience innovations like automatic rain sensing wipers, side air bags, head protection airbags and an advanced stability/traction system. This is one of the most driver friendly luxury vehicles available. Mechanically, this BMW 740iL appears to be in good running and driving condition. I've personally put several hundred miles on this vehicle. These cars just beg to be driven! Their prowess on the highway is addicting. The 4.4L DOHC 32V V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this car feels tight which is uncommon for an older BMW. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this big sedan with no issues. Aside from a mild vibration (only present around 55mph), she cruises easily down the highway as fast as you want her to go. These cars are equally comfortable running for groceries as they are shooting you down the highway at 100+ without breaking a sweat...and this one is no exception. The ZF adaptive drive five speed automatic transmission is one of my favorites and, in my opinion, the best driving automatic transmission available in any sedan...period. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Down shifts are almost intuitive...and this car screams when you hit the go fast pedal! With 282hp on tap from the 4.4L VANOS V8, accelleration is effortless whether from a stop or cruising speed. The only thing I know of that this vehicle needs is a speed sensor. It is tripping the check engine light and the little traction light you see illuminated in the photos. There are no drivablility issues associated with this sensor malfunction. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times. Again, I have personally put several hundred miles on this BMW. I would drive it anywhere without hesitation. I would keep it around but I am in the process of moving to a new facility so I'm trying to thin the herd a little. Moving isn't fun for anyone...let alone when you have 60 vehicles. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of buying a vehicle. I buy vehicles traded at larger dealerships and resell them directly to the public. Each of the vehicles I sell are road tested before being offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of each vehicle's condition. Please keep in mind as you read this description that I am neither a mechanic nor do I operate a full service facility. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and review each of the photos carefully BEFORE asking questions or bidding. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1999 BMW 740iL. I have owned more of these than I can count. They are great vehicles. The advantage the BMW 7 series has over the Mercedes S Class is their simplicity. These are relatively inexpensive to maintain and operate. This example is presented in Oxford Green Metallic over tan leather interior in the long frame version which makes this a very desirable BMW. I would rate the exterior condition of this BWW to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking vehicle. The Oxford Green finish shines well and looks good from any angle. The only visible damage on this vehicle is a loose grill insert which is common with all BMW's. Aside from a few normal flaws from age, there really isn't anything bad to say about the looks of this BMW. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look good. The tires are average at best. The automatic trunk opens and closes properly. There are nearly 100 photos of this gorgeous BMW. Please review the photos inside and out. These are condition cars...meaning I buy them on condition over miles. This car is good for nearly half a million miles when properly serviced. As these cars begin to age, condition is the best "tell" of whether or not the car has been maintained.
I would rate the interior condition of this BMW 740iL to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and miles of this vehicle. As you open the drivers door, you are greeted by a graciously appointed interior. The door cards are all clean and tight. The wood veneers show very well for their age throughout the interior of this car. A complete set of BMW original floor mats are included. The floor mats are in good condition as are the carpets beneath them. The leather seats all show well and are comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. All four windows are one touch operated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. The stereo system is the original unit with CD changer in the trunk. The climate control is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. The air conditioning blows ice cold air. There are also steering wheel controls for your convenience. All five shades are present in the rear which is extremely uncommon. The trunk is spacious and clean. A spare and the original tool kit is included. What you don't see right away is the barrel full of safety and convenience innovations like automatic rain sensing wipers, side air bags, head protection airbags and an advanced stability/traction system. This is one of the most driver friendly luxury vehicles available.
Mechanically, this BMW 740iL appears to be in good running and driving condition. I've personally put several hundred miles on this vehicle. These cars just beg to be driven! Their prowess on the highway is addicting. The 4.4L DOHC 32V V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this car feels tight which is uncommon for an older BMW. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this big sedan with no issues. Aside from a mild vibration (only present around 55mph), she cruises easily down the highway as fast as you want her to go. These cars are equally comfortable running for groceries as they are shooting you down the highway at 100+ without breaking a sweat...and this one is no exception. The ZF adaptive drive five speed automatic transmission is one of my favorites and, in my opinion, the best driving automatic transmission available in any sedan...period. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Down shifts are almost intuitive...and this car screams when you hit the go fast pedal! With 282hp on tap from the 4.4L VANOS V8, accelleration is effortless whether from a stop or cruising speed. The only thing I know of that this vehicle needs is a speed sensor. It is tripping the check engine light and the little traction light you see illuminated in the photos. There are no drivablility issues associated with this sensor malfunction. The engine keeps proper temperature at all times. Again, I have personally put several hundred miles on this BMW. I would drive it anywhere without hesitation. I would keep it around but I am in the process of moving to a new facility so I'm trying to thin the herd a little. Moving isn't fun for anyone...let alone when you have 60 vehicles. Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
