Vehicle Detail
New Page 1 1952 Studebaker Land Cruiser Video of the car driving! The Studebaker Land cruiser was an automobile produced by the Studebaker Corporation in South Bend, Indiana from 1934-1954. It debuted at the World's Fair and remained a popular choice for car enthusiasts and family's over the next 20 years. This particular Land Cruiser was given to Bethany Theological Seminary in Richmond, IN as a donation about 2 years ago. Since then it has been under a cover, ensuring that it remains in beautiful condition. It has been properly maintained and driven periodically to ensure that it stays in tip-top running shape. The car is currently registered and has a clean title.I took it this past weekend to the Vintage Wheels car show here in Richmond, Indiana and it won the DJ's Choice Award! A full-color photo even appeared in the local newspaper the following day, a testament to how beautiful this car is. It features a gorgeous, original spec, Maui Blue paint job- just like the Indy Studebaker Pace Car had in 1952. During the restoration, a 1964 Studebaker 259 Full-Flow V8 replaced the original engine in order to give the car an extra boost of power. Couple with the dual-exhaust and over drive transmission, the car glides and sounds like a dream. This car is ready to be added to your collection as the perfect weekend cruiser! It features: 1964 Studebaker 259 Full-Flow V8 (canadian)Manual 3-speed transmission on the column with overdriveDual exhaust with glasspacks - sounds great!Beautiful Maui Blue paint (original spec)New interior, completely reupholstered and carpettedExterior chrome in EXCELLENT shapeNEW Interstate batteryClutch in excellent shapeOdometer reads 14,152 milesFull size spare tire in trunkGlass in very good shape Window regulators and door mechanics in excellent good working orderNew, modern lap seat belts for front seatOriginal owners manual The car runs beautifully with no issues, its a great highway touring car. It has very few flaws that I was able to find, they're listed here: There is a small crack in the window glass on the drivers door, difficult to show in a photo. Some of the interior chrome is pitted, I've done my best to show this in the pictures but it's not too bad. I was able to turn the radio on, but I received only static and was not able to get a clear station. There is a small rust bubble on the trunk of the car, just below the "Land Cruiser" emblem. This is the ONLY body flaw I was able to find, the rest of the car is in superb shape. This car is offered for sale at $10,500 OBO. I run this small side business as a way to help people buy and sell cars who may not have much experience with computers or selling on eBay. It also gives me a great excuse to be around all the classic cars I love.
