1981 VW Rabbit convertible. Not many left, This was a one owner FL car. Has FL title. Only 75999 original miles. 5 Speed, a/c (not working) belt was cut off . Compressor turns fine and had pressure in system. Original paint, sport steering wheel, factory mags, this was a loaded rabbit. Runs and has new plugs, wires, cap, master cylinder, front brake hoses, rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders. New fuel pump and tank was removed and cleaned.Top frame good condition, folds good, needs new canvas, (has None) I have glass rear window. I have rear side trim in good shape for driver side , it needs plastic snaps. front seats are junk, Floor pan and trunk very solid except for small area by drivers seat track due to wet carpet. Carpet has been removed. Passenger door window rolls up and down very tight, crank handle broke, guts need oil. Windshield is cracked . Muffler and tail pipe was removed to remove gas tank to clean. Starts right up but seems to run ritch. Had a vw guy look at it and he said one injector was dripping fuel and not closing tight. These are very dependable cars that get 40 MPG and are fun to drive. Parts are cheap. This is a solid FL car. I purchased it to pull behind a motorhome but plans changed. Also , in Florida it has no Tag impact fee and ins is cheap due to age of car. With some TLC it's ready to drive. Ask questions before bidding, Deposit thru paypal but balance due in cash within 7 days. Can store for 2 weeks, will drive on a transporter just fine.
