THIS CAR IS A PROJECT CAR YES IT NEEDS SOME TLC ..IF IT WAS PERFECT I WOULD BE ASKING MORE FOR THIS CLASSIC .. THIS IS A GREAT COLLECTORS ITEM ,ONCE RESTORED , TO ONLY GO UP IN PRICE IN TIME .... LOOKING FOR A PROJECT ??? 1972 MGB roadster , 41,000 miles .project car for someone to restore , bodys in good shape , motor needs a turn up , New tires , top needs to be replaced , ..1788 cc 4cyl 4 speed , . clutch is good . Motor and trany are good .. i have owned this car for 18 YEARS ... some of the gauges need to be replaced . ..seats need to be reupholsterd ...The master cyl needs to be replaced .. No brakes ! but the brakes are not locked up ..from being stored .The car needs a going over and cleaned up ..the car has been stored for yrs .. VEHICLES LIKE THIS ONE ARE HARD TO COME BY IN THIS CONDITION WITH LOW MILEAGE , as i stated this car needs some work ,its been sitting /stored for yrs ..Its a project car to be restord ..the car is complete inside and out ..Please ask questions ribed the above-mentioned vehicle to the best of my ability. THANKS FOR LOOKING : This MGB its 40 yrs old and has not ever been restore ,BUT LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN TOUCH UP IN PLACES ..NOT BY ME !! Like i said i have owned it for 18 yrs ..to clear up some questions about rust and what needs to be done to the car ... there is some small nicks /rust spots one on the passenger door and a few around where the snaps are for the top .. nothing rusting through ..the fenders front and rear , hood , trunk lid ,trunk floor , door frames , glass , are all in good shape ..As far as i know , i didn't pull up the carpet ... there is some surface rust under car on the frame .. Its 40 yrs old , nothing rusting through or that needs to be repaired .. items that need to be worked on . new top , upholstery, master cyl, brakes need to be check , brakes are not locked up from siting.Need to be replaced ,distributor cap , points , condenser, spark plugs , spark plug wires , needs a good turn up , motor turns over well , tires don't have more than 50 road miles on them ..I only drove the car in the summer time when it was nice out ..I'm selling the car as a project car.. because it dose need some tlc ... It looks nice on the outside...the car is original .no chrome needs to be redone ...The paint still shines .. thanks for looking at my little car .. please ask questions if i left something out .. the car is well worth THE price .. check out NADA Classic cars on this little car .. to see what its really worth restored ..
