Vehicle Detail
For sale is another vehicle I am selling for my local credit union , this is a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8 V-6 automatic transmission 190k miles. I sell some of there cars for them on ebay , I am a ASE Certified Mechanic and have inspected this car , first interior is nice it has all power windows, locks , cruise , drivers seat , cd player , steering wheel controls , carpet is nice seats are decent , I think there was a pin hole in the back seat very small , some of the factory writing is coming off things like a/c buttons , stereo buttons ie. the headliner is nice had some stains I got most out ,interior is very very clean , a couple door panels had a nick or two in them not bad not torn up but if you look you can see a small spot I think the right rear door but not a eyesore at all most people would not notice the things I describe , Bottom line on the interior it does not look like it has 190k miles on it it is nice , the exterior was recently painted base/clear it is a blue color and it was a decent paint job , the back bumper is missing the lower section the black plastic part , the pass mirror has a scuff on it , otherwise nice the front bumper I think has some bug marks and a couple rock chips but not bad at all. all doors open and close great. it has 20 inch aftermarket wheels the right rear tire is flat does hold air but goes down the tires are very nice not many miles on them very nice , the rims are nice they do have some corrosion going on but can be polished and cleaned up alot more then I did . now to all the need fixxings. 1. it has new key but it was cut wrong so you have to play with it in door and ignition and then the theft will have to be programmed i can tell you how to do that . 2. no remote so to get into the trunk you have to lay back seat down and use the lever in trunk to pop it. 3. the car does not over heat I put hundreds of miles on it in our hot bumper to bumper traffic but radiator needs to be replace the previous owner filled it with stop leak , I tried flush but would not work needs a new one and then a good system flush and a new water pump and thermostat and hoses. 4. drivers front Left Front wheel bearing will need to be replaced it is not making noise but does have play 5. tie rods need replacing 6. alternator charges fine but is noisy not the bearing but inside so it can go until it stops charging. 7. steering input shaft makes noise sometimes common item to go bad on all gm cars cheap and easy fix It has had alot of previous work done to it , the a/c system has been replaced , belt replaced plugs and wires replaced , oil was clean tranny fluid nice , intake gaskets look recent , engine kept pretty clean. This will make someone a good car they are cheap to maintain and parts are cheap and they are easy to repair it is a regular push rod engine with regular things around it. so you can fix everything and have a nice car for less . The items that need to be repaired on this car are normal just maintenance items that should be replaced anyway.
