Hi: Up for auction is a very nice 47 Ford 5 passenger club coupe. This is a no rust ever vehicle with no patch panels. This car came out of Iowa and was used only for town trips by it's farmer owner. Total of 51,000 miles. The car has been upgraded with a 300 H.P. brand new 350 Chev. motor with two (4) barrels, headers, better ignition, etc.The transmission and torque converter are heavy duty. The rear end ratio is 3:08. The Ford has test miles only. The Ford is wired to run, drive, and charge. There is still wiringto be done depending on the gages used etc. If you thought you would like to get a streetrod like this with all the tough stuff done, it may be for you. To this point it has been a ground up restoration with everything taken down to bare metal before priming. I tried to get a shot of the underside so you could see how nice it is. The front and rear suspension are TCI. Dual leaf springs in the rear. The work on the 47 was done by an experienced restorer/ streetrodder. You can see by the pictures the original interior needs help. The headliner needs replaced too. That is the reason the nice rear window was not put in, as it comes out again for the headliner. I do have a new rubber seal for it. The windshield has new glass and rubber seal. The dash is nice with great gages, speedo, and clock.
