1968 Classic Beetle, super clean, ALWAYS stored inside, can be a daily driver, or go to the car shows, looks and drives perfectly. Very reliable little car, Starts and runs perfectly, idles nice and smooth, drives nice and straight down the road, and has plenty of power. Car was refurbished about five years ago, and stored inside year round since. NO RUST ON CAR! NO BONDO ON CAR! Less than five thousand miles have been put on this car since refurbish. Car is running in all pictures shown in auction. Paint is in awsome shape, "just look at the reflection of clouds in pictures. A base coat clear coat- black and red Harley Davidson factory paint was used. Brake components are all new, and working as they should be, e-brake works perfectly, tires are bf-goodwrench classic whitewalls with over 80% tread left. Clutch has under five thousand miles on it, carburetor is new, along with fuel pump, coil, spark plug wires, cap, rotor, and all tune-up parts. Speedometer, gauges and "dummy lights" all working as they should. Very little play in steering wheel. Original am radio is in dash but not hooked up, aftermarket cd player is wired and working. Dash is NOT cut or hacked up to accept a modern radio. !!Interior is SUPER NICE!!, but not show quality. Seats have all been recovered, and the headliner in nice but not perfect, very, very presentably though. Door interior skins are aftermarket, and also presentable. Sunroof is fully operational, and comes in handy on hot days. Sunroof gaskets are original, and don't leak in the rain but are cosmetically not pretty anymore. Picture with my finger pointing at hood shows one inch crack in paint,"not sure why this happened, no bondo under crack". New in box modern dash cover included with sale. Original windshield washer tank that runs off spare tire air pressure included. Original VW tool kit also includeed Gas tank door is not usable, as a earlier model tank has been put in. Car is almost 45 years old, and still gets more looks, waves, and thumbs up than most cars on the road.
