Item Description and features: Here we have a very nice 1982 Classic FORD F100, Shortbed, with Original Wood Floor Stepside Bed, 2 Wheel Drive, Manual 4 speed, 302 V8 with 2 barrel carb with a manual choke. Power steering, Power brakes. Interior is Custom cloth velour seat with flip-down center console, very clean and comfortable. Sliding rear window. Factory Am/FM radio with added Panasonic 50w power booster, stock factory dash and gauges, Interior is decent for 30 years old. Tires are 31X10.50X15 all matching, 50% tread remaining on CHROME wheels. Truck features a brown metallic paint, chrome front and rear bumpers. This truck would be great for everyday driver but also could really be a really nice show truck with a little more work put into it. But It does still make heads turn and catch folks eyes now. Here is what we know: This 1982 Ford F100 was a local new car trade. We have driven this truck for about 100 miles over the last few weeks, it runs and drives very well, no odd smoke or noises noticed. Truck handles very well on the highway with plenty of power and shifting is smooth. We feel winning bidder should feel comfortable driving home any distance. The paint has minor fading, few scratches and dents, right rear fender has most noticed srcatch as pictured, also very minor rust and blistering found at cab corners and rockers, this is not a new truck so we really try to give you the best desciption we can and tell you as it is. But this truck still looks very nice and you would be pleased to be seen in this classic. Mileage is 91,890 miles to be original. Title will read exempt due to age of vehicle. When purchase is complete we have a free and clear title to give you. Minor flaws we know: This is what we know and can see. And we try not to miss anything, sorry if we repeat ourselves. Again this 1982 Ford Classic, as mentioned paint looks very well but minor fading, minor body scratches and rust, NO frame rust. Fuel gauge does not always read accurate. The dash pad is cracked and worn from heat. No leaks found from motor or underneath truck noticed. For a 30 year old truck we could not find many flaws. We recommend that most all our vehicles should have minor and normal service preformed after getting them home such as oil changes and possible minor tune up items plugs, wires, filters, and all normal preventive maintence things, as for most of the time we do not have previous records to when these things were last done. Our last negative feedback resulted in buyer having no knowledge on vehicle overflow tube not having an overflow bottle, had he called us after going 2 blocks for fuel and explained what he thought was happening. We could have explained and shown him another jeep in our collection. Common sense is that a vehicle will not overheat in a 2 block drive, first redflag.If I were only 2 blocks away and had a phone and or new the way back to were i just came from you bet i would have gone back or called and found out what we could do. But instead he choose to leave us negative feedback. We had to contact him what the issue was and he explained there was a dripping out of the overflow tube and he made the assumption that it would overheat, so he paid to have it towed. Cost him $80.00 to find out that there was no issue. There is no overflow bottle in a 1982 jeep. That is what happens when you are buying a vehicle that was was built the same year you are born. We should not have to explain this when due to a persons' inexperience or possible embarrassment. But we are explaining it because - Seriously folks we are so into customer service and could have saved him time, money and aggrevation. We spend alot of time on our ads and pictures to show and explain in detail just what you are bidding on.
