Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before it is offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic and that I do not operate a full service retail facility. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro sedan with the very desirable manual transmission. I would rate the exterior condition of this Audi A4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking vehicle. The black paint shines very well for its age and shows no noteworthy damage. Please expect normal small scratches, scuffs and other minor blemishes associated with normal use. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show very well. The tires are a matching set and appear to be nearly new. This Audi was a new vehicle trade from the Bayside Group in Maryland. I would rate the interior of this Audi A4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner is clean and tight. This Audi is equipped with the rather rare cloth interior which is in excellent condition. Most A4's come equipped with Leatherette which is a fake leather that does not hold up well to age. The cloth, on the other hand, is very well made and obviously holds up better as you can see. This is a rather well optioned Audi for an A4. It boasts automatic climate control which is in proper working condition. The air conditioner blows ice cold air and the display for the climate control still works, which is uncommon. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seat and sunroof all appear to be working properly. This Audi is equipped with heated front seats as well as front and rear fog lamps. The original cassette player has been upgraded to a CD player. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L engine is one of the oldest engines in the Audi family and has been around so long thanks to its simplicity and reliabilty. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It's a little chattery and the cam seals leak which is common to this engine. Otherwise, I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I've driven this Audi a few times. The suspension is remarkably tight all around. The brakes feel great and the steering is neutral and responsive. The clutch does not slip and gear changes are smooth. The engine keeps proper temperature. The air bag light stays on. If you drive this car hard, you will get a misfire in cylinder 4. If you drive it normally, it is smooth as silk. I don't know what is causing this. I checked compression and it is perfect. My guess is a dirty injector. I'm currently running injector cleaner through it. I know the mis isn't on the ignition side...compression is perfect...so it has to be fuel. Like I said, drive it normally and she purrs like a kitten. Out on the highway, she drives strait as an arrow with no complaints. This engine backed by a manual transmission and Audi's legendary Quattro AWD make this car virtually unstoppable. Audi Quattro is a purely mechanical system which is why it is superior to others out there. She handles great and is a pleasure to drive. I rarely buy A4's because most of the ones I see come through are rough and obviously abused. Actually, I buy about 400 vehicles each year (x 2years) and this is the second A4 I've purchased. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. If you've ever wished you knew someone who could get you access to fresh trades before they are reconditioned and sold at retail, now you do. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of buying a vehicle. Each vehicle is thoroughly road tested before it is offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic and that I do not operate a full service retail facility. Each vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L Quattro sedan with the very desirable manual transmission. I would rate the exterior condition of this Audi A4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking vehicle. The black paint shines very well for its age and shows no noteworthy damage. Please expect normal small scratches, scuffs and other minor blemishes associated with normal use. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show very well. The tires are a matching set and appear to be nearly new. This Audi was a new vehicle trade from the Bayside Group in Maryland.
I would rate the interior of this Audi A4 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE condition for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The headliner is clean and tight. This Audi is equipped with the rather rare cloth interior which is in excellent condition. Most A4's come equipped with Leatherette which is a fake leather that does not hold up well to age. The cloth, on the other hand, is very well made and obviously holds up better as you can see. This is a rather well optioned Audi for an A4. It boasts automatic climate control which is in proper working condition. The air conditioner blows ice cold air and the display for the climate control still works, which is uncommon. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seat and sunroof all appear to be working properly. This Audi is equipped with heated front seats as well as front and rear fog lamps. The original cassette player has been upgraded to a CD player. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L engine is one of the oldest engines in the Audi family and has been around so long thanks to its simplicity and reliabilty. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It's a little chattery and the cam seals leak which is common to this engine. Otherwise, I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I've driven this Audi a few times. The suspension is remarkably tight all around. The brakes feel great and the steering is neutral and responsive. The clutch does not slip and gear changes are smooth. The engine keeps proper temperature. The air bag light stays on. If you drive this car hard, you will get a misfire in cylinder 4. If you drive it normally, it is smooth as silk. I don't know what is causing this. I checked compression and it is perfect. My guess is a dirty injector. I'm currently running injector cleaner through it. I know the mis isn't on the ignition side...compression is perfect...so it has to be fuel. Like I said, drive it normally and she purrs like a kitten. Out on the highway, she drives strait as an arrow with no complaints. This engine backed by a manual transmission and Audi's legendary Quattro AWD make this car virtually unstoppable. Audi Quattro is a purely mechanical system which is why it is superior to others out there. She handles great and is a pleasure to drive. I rarely buy A4's because most of the ones I see come through are rough and obviously abused. Actually, I buy about 400 vehicles each year (x 2years) and this is the second A4 I've purchased. Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
