1964 Studebaker Champ 1/2 ton P/U model 8E5 I purchased this truck several years back to drive in parades for my business...It has been a lot of fun to drive around town....It is a unique truck which was only made from 1960-1964...It has a 6 cyl engine with a manual 3 speed OD transmission...The engine & transmission are original....I am not sure about the mileage on the truck...I put a new "used" speedometer/odo in the truck 2 -3 years ago....I'm not sure if the interior of the truck is original....It has a bench seat with carpeting....The seat and carpet are a bit faded....The truck has a new battery....It starts and cranks & drives....The wipers, lights, & blinkers all work....The horn is not a 100% at all times...It has a sliding back window....There is some surface rust around trim, corners and cracks....I think this is a result of a "B" paint job several years back....There is a small 2" x 2" hole under battery, but the area around it is solid....As far as I can see, the metal & panels seem solid on the truck....There are several issues that will need to be addressed....There is a small leak in the brake fluid line, so you must top off your brake fluid as needed....It smokes some, so it does burn a bit of oil..... I think someone with some knowledge could take this vintage truck to the next level....I am selling this vehicle "As Is"......Buyer is responsible for pickup....feel free to ask any questions...$500 dollar PayPal deposit at end of auction & remainder in "cash" at pick up.....
