I bought this car as a surprise for my mother to take on vacation because it is so much nicer to take a convertible down to the shore than a minivan. I got this car specifically because it is so well kept and it is clear that the previous owner took excellent care of it. My mother was absolutely thrilled and came back from her trip grinning from ear to ear. This 91 Toyota Celica convertible has the GT trim package, which has the 2.2L 4 cylinder engine and 5-speed manual transmission. This is a well proven, bulletproof drivetrain that is known to last well over 250,000 miles with proper maintenance. I drove this car on several extended trips when I first got it so that I could be certain it would treat my mother well, and it drives like an absolute dream. The engine is torque-y and responsive. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and easily. The clutch is easy and grabs smoothly. The suspension is well balanced and sporty. The car will drive straight as an arrow at 85 mph with just one finger on the wheel. The brakes stop smooth and quick. The cruise control functions properly. As you can see in the pictures, the exterior of this convertible is where the car really shines (no pun intended). The bright fire engine red paint has a brilliant shine to it and is quite eye catching. On close inspection, the paint is not flawless, but it looks amazing from 5 feet away. The black convertible top is in excellent condition. It has only one spot of noteworthy wear, on the top corner at the fold (see pics). The rear window is not yellowed or hazed. The power convertible mechanism works smoothly. The top seals well and has significantly less wind noise than I expected. The alloy wheels are wrapped in a set of quality Bridgestone Weatherforce tires with deep tread. The interior of the car is likewise in above average condition. The seats are in nearly perfect condition: no holes, tears, or stains. The carpets are in excellent shape and there is a full set of floor mats. The interior liner of the convertible top is in excellent condition. This appears to have always been a non-smoker's car. The power windows (two in the doors and the two smaller windows beside the rear seats) all work well. The power mirrors work as the should. The stereo is a Sony with CD and AUX-in (to connect an iPod or MP3 player). It has excellent sound quality and volume. You can hear the music well even with the top down at 70 mph. The air conditioner blows ice cold. This is a beautiful car and it turns heads where ever I drive it. It is an utter joy to drive. This car has a PA safety and emmisions inspection good for an entire year, through the end of July, 2013. The alloy wheels are wrapped in a set of quality Bridgestone Weatherforce tires with deep tread.
The interior of the car is likewise in above average condition. The seats are in nearly perfect condition: no holes, tears, or stains. The carpets are in excellent shape and there is a full set of floor mats. The interior liner of the convertible top is in excellent condition. This appears to have always been a non-smoker's car. The power windows (two in the doors and the two smaller windows beside the rear seats) all work well. The power mirrors work as the should. The stereo is a Sony with CD and AUX-in (to connect an iPod or MP3 player). It has excellent sound quality and volume. You can hear the music well even with the top down at 70 mph. The air conditioner blows ice cold.
This is a beautiful car and it turns heads where ever I drive it. It is an utter joy to drive.
This car has a PA safety and emmisions inspection good for an entire year, through the end of July, 2013.

Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.

The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
