Up for sale is a 2006 Hyundai Sonata with 95,xxx miles(Clear title, no wrecks). I purchased this car online from Columbus OH in 07 with roughly 8,xxx miles on it. During that time the car was under warranty so I took it to Kenny Kent Hyundai for oil changes(engine and trans), brakes and tires up to about 60,xxx miles. At about that time I started doing all the service myself. The transmission fluid has been changed at the recommended intervals. I've been putting fully synthetic oil in the engine and also adding fully synthetic lucas oil additive with each oil change. The timing chain has not been changed on this car yet. When its started from a cold start like in the morning, it will make a ratchet clicking noise, only lasting for 3 seconds(sometimes less) and then no more noise. If the engine is already warm, it does not do it. I took it to a Hyundai dealer and they said its the timing chain tensioners causing the noise. I've been driving it for roughly a year (12k miles) like this and it has not gotten any worse. I would not be afraid to take it on a several hour drive. I've been using it as my daily transportation up to 2 weeks ago and did not have any problems. The transmission shifts smoothly and has never had any issues what so ever. The transmission fluid has been changed about 5k ago which is the 3rd time since the car was new. The tires will need to be replaced soon but should get you to your destination without any problems. The spare has never been used. The brakes are in fair condition. I haven't had any issues with car other than what I listed about the engine starting up from a cold start. The only reason I'm selling it is because I just purchased an infinity g37 and I have no need for the sonata now.
