These cars are iconic in that they revolutionized the auto industry by being an affordable alternative to the European sports car of the day. This car is truly a "time capsule" car being just about as new and fresh a car of this type could be. It has not sufferred the demise by corrosion almost all of them have and has just 30,763 meticulously mainatined miles. The original owner actually put towels in the driver and passenger seats to prevent any dye bleeding from blue jeans, true story! Everything works as if it had back in 1983 including all power components, drivetrain and ancillary system. The car has been stored indoors in a climate control environment since new and still is equipped with the original Bridgestone Potenza Tires it was born with! I would recommend changing them if you are going to drive the car but that's how original this car is. All the rubber gaskets, moulding and trim are all intact and has suffered no degradation over time. Even the suede seat inserts are clean and exhibit no stains you would expect on a car like this. The 5 Speed Transmission works like new and the T Tops are complete with no scratches or damage. This car is suitable for concours events or local cruise nights and will get comments and awards all the time.
