Vehicle Detail

No reserve auction; Here is a very rare 1966 K code fastback. It has the desirable and correct HEH-BX close ratio 4 speed transmission. It is finished in its factory correct Antique Bronze paint, and has a black standard interior. The factory engine was rebuilt professionally 900 miles ago with some genuine Shelby upgrades such as the S2MS Cobra high rise intake manifold, the Holley 715 CFM carb with Lemans bowls a real 1966 Shelby 9,000 RPM tach and a hard to find FoMoCo 4 in 1 gauge. Genuine Buddy Bar Cobra valve covers were also used on this engine. Shelby racing style seatbelts are installed however the original belts are included in this auction. The distributor is the original FoMoCo dual point type. The ignition wires are the correct hipo style. A modern Nostalgia series competition solid cam was used along with 1.6 roller rockers. This car has a history free of accidents and is clear of all liens. This car is not a GT and had very few factory options. It has a highway friendly, factory 3.50 gear ratio rear end. I have a copy of the original bill of sale and a professional, independent appraisal that includes several pictures and descriptions that I will share with interested bidders. This car is registered in the Hi-Po Mustang registry. It is completely driveable and is driven only on sunny days for pleasure use only. It has collector plates status so it qualifies for much lower insurance rates. It has passed our local emissions test. The car has 5 matching dual red line bias play tires with very low miles. They are on Ford steel rims with hub caps as shown. The engine compartment is beautifully detailed to show quality. These pictures were taken very recently. I have no problem helping potential buyers in importing this car into the United States. I live about 5 minutes from the US border and about 2 hours from Seattle, WA. I would also encourage and assist potential buyers to have this car inspected by a facility of your choice, prior to purchasing this car. I will also assist in that process. I have several pictures of the car from the 60's plus pre restoration pictures as well. Please ask any questions that you may have. I am sure that I have left out some things. You may also call me at 604 850 1147 or email me through ebay. I will answer your questions within 8 hours. Happy Bidding! On Jun-24-12 at 08:28:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Re: Additional pictures, videos of the car and the appraisal; Please email me directly at rburton1961@hotmail.com and I will provide the above information to you. I do not think that it's possible to email these things to you through ebay. Thank you, Rob B.On Jun-28-12 at 15:01:42 PDT, seller added the following information: June 28, 2012 2:51 PDT BLOCKED BIDDERS For the protection of serious bidders, I have just blocked several bidders, (that I consider to be times wasters), from participating in this auction. That should keep the number of bids from getting ridiculous and keep the serious bidders, (and me), from getting too frustrated. I know some of that some of you are going to ask...the number of people that I blocked was 39. Rob B. On Jun-29-12 at 13:32:59 PDT, seller added the following information: THE LAST AUCTION I am getting a lot of questions about the car being "sold" in the last auction. This is what happened; The member that "bought" the car in the last auction was a local gentleman who lives about 40 miles away from me. He inspected the car in person and took it for a drive with his family. He gave me a deposit to hold the car until he could get a loan from the bank. I provided him with a receipt for his deposit and a bill of sale for his bank. At that time, thinking that this was a done deal, I gave him a + feedback on ebay and gathered all of the extra things that go with this car for him. Unfortunately the member was not able to secure financing after all so I put the car back on the market. I was unable to remove the + feedback that I gave him once it was posted. Please have your funds in order BEFORE bidding on this car. Rob B.On Jun-29-12 at 19:49:28 PDT, seller added the following information: ADDITIONAL PICTURES I Have added a couple of pictures of the front and rear floor pans of the car. Those pictures were taken January 2012.On Jun-29-12 at 19:58:49 PDT, seller added the following information: PRE-RESTORATION PICTURES Some of you have asked to see a couple of pictures of the car before the restoration process began. I have added two pictures of the car as it appeared before any restoration work had ever been done to it. In other words, this is what it looked like 40+ years after leaving the factory. Rob B.
