Vehicle Detail

Great daily driver that needs a new home. I brought this truck in from Kansas as a project. After some drive train adjustments, I was off and running. The engine is a fresh Ford 302 with an Edelbrock intake, Holley carb, and a crane cam. Stock ignition with bigger wires and a Mallory coil. Trans is a C4 with a B&M shift kit, and a new Lokar nostalgia 23" which I installed. Rear end is stock Ford. I put 4 new Gabriel shocks on, cleaned and adjusted the brakes(still pulls some, I have new shoes which will be included), added 4 new whitewall tires and Cragar chrome smoothies and baby moons. Next stop was a local muffler shop for the header back tubes, Flowmaster Super 44's and welded on chrome tips. From there to the paint shop for a GM (yes, GM) Sedona Bronze Metallic and GM tan paint job. A local pro artist did the pinstriping. I left the door jambs and bed floor unpainted. The paint shop did a few ding/dent removals but the budget wasn't there for a full blown treatment, so it does have some remaining to do. Also there's paint chips here and there from stones, panels needing aligned better, etc. The body shop staff was impressed with the minimal/no body filler evident on this pickup, but that is typical of Kansas vehicles. Ive added a vintage Napa spotlight to the door where the original mirror was located and added a peep mirror up high. I do have the original mirror and will include it. Headlights, taillights and brakelights work. The suspension and cab remain original( I added the beige carpet) in case the new owner was interested in restoring the truck back to 58 specs. the seat is ok, with some cracks in the vinyl near the center of the bench. Ive replaced the door glass, vent window glass and back glass, with the windshield remaining. It does have a crack in the drivers side. Ive put over 1200 miles on this truck, taking some trips as long as 60 miles one way. The motor runs cool, even in parades. In a nutshell, this pickup is not perfect, but is a great daily driver and is priced as such.Im sure I missed a few things. Let the pictures tell the story. I can help with loading/shipping and sometimes end auctions early. Call Matt for details 330-774-0822. Thank you cut and paste this link to your browser to hear the truck at idle (the deep exhaust note will not sound optimal with small speakers) http://youtu.be/tzQ-YoZP0Z0 cut and paste this link to see the pickup traveling down OH 11 at 55-60 mph http://youtu.be/Gds09YUhWHs On Jun-26-12 at 07:39:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I am selling this truck to build a gasser, and open to trades of that style of car. Projects, motors, complete rollers, etc. Also, Ive been getting questions about the front bumper, I fabbed it out of conduit, welded 2 studs to the bumper and bolted it on to the truck. So yes it is removable if you want to add a chrome one. Other questions about the wipers and heaters... the wiper motor and arms/blades are all complete, but the switch seems froze. Same with the heater, the core is plumbed into the motor, and the blower is there.
