Well used but well maintained BUICK RENDEZVOUS AWD2003 - V6 - Automatic - Power windows - CD player - A/C - Newly installed Weather Tech floor and cargo mats - GM Factory Ski-Rack This vehicle is the technically on the second owner but it has been kept in the family. It was owned by my father in laws auto parts company and used as a delivery car for respected clients for meetings. The company had a great account with the local GM dealer in Reading Pennsylvania. He then either sells or donates the vehicles to his children when the company lease runs out. Since 2004 my wife owned it for college driven in and around the D.C. area when she later moved to Boston in 2007 and has been in Boston ever since. The vehicle has been service regularly through out its life and has recently had all the major service items done.These cars have typical problems and all have been fixed by an ASE certified mechanic. Recent service include, spark plugs, spark plug wires, ALL filters (air, fuel, pollen and oil done last month). Coolant and brake fluids flushed this past winter.The typical problems these GM engines have are intake gasket leaks which was done in late January 2012.The Rendezvous is also know for having weak alternators so last August (2011) it was replaced with a higher amperage alternator due to flickering lights and display. The battery was also replaced the Spring of 2012 because "someone" left the lights on overnight ;-)OH, the vehicle has automatic, day-time running lights with lower front end driving lights Now to the "Well Used" part of this listing heading - We have driven this car almost everywhere in New England and have had no issues, thank goodness. We go to Maine every fall and snowboarding all over every winter and the AWD system is very good even with all season tires because lets face it, snow tires are a must in New England for at least 4 months of the year.Used also means, scratches, a few dents, and light corrosion with very, VERY little rust. Rust is showing on the typical spots, door edges and under the hood in spots but that's it!The paint however is in very good shape for the use. The scratches are all light to moderate and can probably be detailed or wet-sanded out with now paint required. The hub caps are scratched up but that is typical with parking on the streets of Boston.Interior has some light stains on the rear carpets and the center rear are slightly broken but the air that comes out is all the same. Also one of the overhead storage compartments is broken, it looks ok but when you open it, it falls out. All in all this car has served us very well and with anything else if this goes to someone who changes the oil and washes it at least 2-4 times a month like me, it will stay reliable and good looking for years to come.
