This is it!! The one you HAVE to have! Whether you are looking for the powerful version of S70 for a playtoy, daily driver or desperately need that 2nd car...even the teenage driver....you've found it!! If you now anything about the 850/S70 lineup, you KNOW that the "T5" is the one to grab. I feel the 98 model was the BEST of both worlds, the older powerful 850 drivetrain with the newer more loved S70 body and interior design. Regardless, I promise you this ONE OWNER T5 is the BEST deal on Ebay with NO RESERVE!! Considering it's age and mileage, when you come to pickup your new purchase, you'll find it resembles a car half it's age! It starts, looks, runs and drives like an 80k car. BID, BUY, AND DRIVE ANYWHERE WITH 100% CONFIDENCE and do it with NO RESERVE! The front bumper and hood look great! Yes there are rockchips but they have been touched up nicely with matching paint. Altho there are scratches on the nose here and there, there are absolutely no cracks, holes or damages on the cover. Even the front lower driving lights work! Body panels thru out the car are wonderfully straight. I'm no bodyman but there are no signs of any major body repairs. My mobile Autocheck displayed zero accidents and true One Ownership. I can count on one hand how many dings there are and absolutely no dents to be found. The only major complaint are some odd deeper scratches in misc locations that my camera couldn't pickup since they were neatly touched up with the silver paint. Below you can see the nearly new matching Yokohama tires at every corner! The tires ride on super clean undamaged and vibration free rims. Smooth even at 80MPH! Underneath lies new brakes up front and easily 50% left rears. No pulsing or brake noises. Rear bumper cover looks great as well! Only a handful of touchups and zero damages. Trunklid looks great too! Note the power antenna is intact and fully functioning. Yes if you noticed, there is a nice proper trailer hitch on the back. No, the transmission/drivetrain isn't messed up. Fluid is clean and it shifts perfectly. You can't even see it no matter how hard you try, but the right rear quarter has a decent sized scratch in it. But the touchup paint worked it's wonders. Interior is golden as well. Easily an 8.5 out of 10. Points off for the clearcoating missing off the center woodgrain and the worn hole in driver's bolster. Otherwise very beautiful and comfortable. Everything power works as they should, windows, cruise, mirrors, sunroof, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, locks, transmission selector, radio, heater power leather seats, etc. I hate smoke and I can't smell any signs of it. Not one interior thing to complain about! Above and below you can see ALL the dummy lights illuminate with none being on during run. Complete seemingly UNUSED spare setup(spare tire has nipples on it still) is fully intact along with the industrial factory Volvo floormats and trunk mat! Above you can see the factory manual with warranty guide and a few things like radio code card and place of purchase business card are included. Also there are 2 keys but no keyless fobs included. I've driven this car for nearly 200 miles to ensure it's reliability for your drive home! Below the engine compartment is clean with zero signs of any major oil or coolant leaks! Engine starts and runs perfectly with no noises. No blow-by or oil burning. Spark plugs are brand new and I removed worn Volvo plugs. Airfilter is clean as are all the fluids incuding a fresh oil/filter change for your trip home! Volvo battery is strong and very recent. Car starts and drives smoothly with no unusual suspension noises or wandering/pulling. Ice Cold Air will freeze your face off! Yes, the heat works perfeclty too! The MEAT of this purchase is the obvious historical maintenance history: the VOLVO TIMING BELT TAG! Replaced at 146k back in 2008 leaving it with easily 40k miles left. Also note the cabin air filter was changed then as well. With this tag, the Volvo battery, former Volvo oil filter and spark plugs, this car OOOOoozes Volvo dealership servicing, and it shows!!
