For sale is a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2. I bought it a year ago from an owner that had it since 1990. He never drove it and only bought parts but didn't work on it in those 20+ years. This is a C-code car. The original 289 runs great. The previous owner did have the C-4 rebuilt and I have receipts for that. It looks like it has only had about 20 miles on that tranny rebuild. It does have factory power steering but for some reason the previous owner removed the pump. I have the pump, just not sure if it works. It has the cobra dress up kit and a brand new gas tank. Body: The car is fairly rust free. The front frame rails are rust free. There is a little bit of surface rust on the bottom side of the floor pans but NO holes. There has been a quarter, trunk drop off, wheel well patch on the driver's side. There are a few smaller spots of rust near the rear wheel wells that look like they have had patches welded over them. The passenger rocker has been replaced but needs some finishing work. There is some rust in the driver's door but an extra door comes with it. It comes with a new: front bumper, gt rear valance, front valance, shelby hood, shelby scoops, repop fenders. All other body parts come with it, they are just used original parts. I have spent the past year upgrading the suspension. I did the Shelby Arning drop. I replaced the ball joints, new KYB gas adjust shocks all around. Lowering 620 coil springs up front with new bushings. 1" sway bar up front. 3/4" sway bar in back. Lowering mid eye springs in rear. Welded in subframe connectors and installed export brace. This car comes with a brand new 4 wheel disc brake set from Stainless Steel Brakes. The kit is still in boxes. It comes with rotors, calipers, pads, proportioning valve, dual bowl master cylinder, power brake booster, shields, hoses, lines. This kit alone costs over $2000 new. It looks like everything, I just haven't had a chance to install it. Interior: This car comes with a complete brand new interior kit. I have already recovered the seats and redone all the carpet on the rear fold down seat. It comes with new: carpet, instrument cluster, door panels, door pulls, dash pad, glove box and door. All fiberglass and metal interior pieces have been repainted. All interior pieces are medium blue. The heater box has been completely rebuilt. This car comes with tons of parts. The car does run and drive but it will obviously need to be trailered. The car is located in Lincoln, NE. I'm not sure what else to say about this car. If you have any questions please ask.
