1960 VW Type II regular cab transporter1600 cc 12 volt engine has less than 100 hours since new in 2000 oil still clear; runs ;just needs tuneNo body mods or dash damage good candidate for total restore4000 plus in metal and rubber many reinforcement metal spars installed or replaced and many extrasextra light, hubcaps, a jack, key, metal braces and valance under chest which has rust boilsno structural rust at all; only surface rust and small boils on rear end gate areagates are not rebuilt and have some rust but very straight with slight bend in rear gatepaint is showing some age and peeling etc in usual areas (ex shown) but easy fix with Prairie beige flat paint.one or two wrinkles in tire wells inside which are fixable if you care.2000 restore with decent paint that has aged with blems and dings but rubber and seals are all good 16 inch 1954 (or close) Commins (sp) barndoor rivited wheels and bias ply tired give a great roll and sit higher than 15 inchers. Wheels are balanced which is rareThis truck has been scoped and balanced at Modern Industries machine shop in Long Beach at a cost of 600 bucks and the frame is straight and has a 1/64 or less inch wheel base variance (super) and is less than a 32nd inch off center on frame _most of these vehicles are not anywhere close to this and I have owned a dozen or more. The roll is good on tis one and vibration is low ; no bucking at all.Arizona Nevada vehicle 3 S/N all match in cab on engine deck and the Mtag in the back of engine compartment it is a straight on frameOne repaint over bluerear bumper with new supportsoriginal 80k miles is not on title as an exempt older vehicle in Nevada but on service receipts ect all issues are minor involving body paint and mechanically all linkage and seals are good. good luck
