They have not been serviced (unless otherwise specified), detailed, or fixed up for retail sale. In order for me to offer them to you at no-reserve and sell them at prices so much lower than retail dealers I cannot spend money for these services. I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I try to accurately describe any mechanical issues to the best of my ability, but I am not a mechanic. Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT. This very nice mid-size four wheel drive SUV is powered by the 4.0L V6 and automatic transmission. The drive train is in good order for the age and miles. The V6 engine makes good oil pressure, holds temp, and drives nicely. The overdrive automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The ABS malfunction light is on. This does not affect braking distance. The brakes stop strong, but they do not have the ABS feature anymore. The suspension is in good order. The steering is neutral and smooth. The white exterior of the vehicle is in above average condition for the age and miles. It has the usual small blemishes that accumulate from normal use, but does not have any larger spots of damage (see pics). All of the trim is in good order and firmly attached. The running boards are in good condition. The alloy wheels are in excellent shape; they are not scratched up and have a full set of centercaps. The wheels are wrapped in a matching set of Goodyear Wrangler tires with 75% or more tread left. These tires are a bit noisy and harsh due to the aggressive tread that will give good grip in snow or off-road conditions. The interior of this Ford is likewise in above average condition for the age. The perforated leather seats are all in good condition. There are no holes or tears, just the usual wear marks. The front seats are power adjustable in a dozen directions. The rear seats fold flat to make a large cargo area. The carpets are in good condition. There is some discoloration. There is a full set of vinyl floor mats. The power mirrors and locks work as they should. The power windows all work from the driver's seat, but do not respond to the individual controls on the other doors. The power sunroof works as it should; it tilts, slides, and closes easily. The factory radio has been replaced with a Pioneer CD player with excellent sound quality. The A/C blows ice cold. The fan works in all positions at all speeds. The rear climate control works as well. This Explorer is well optioned and has been well cared for. Pride of ownership from it's previous owners is evident throughout. This is a vehicle that does not show its age or miles and should give it's new owner plenty of service. This vehicle has a PA annual safety and emmissions inspection good throught the end of August 2012. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a 1996 Ford Explorer XLT. This very nice mid-size four wheel drive SUV is powered by the 4.0L V6 and automatic transmission. The drive train is in good order for the age and miles. The V6 engine makes good oil pressure, holds temp, and drives nicely. The overdrive automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The ABS malfunction light is on. This does not affect braking distance. The brakes stop strong, but they do not have the ABS feature anymore. The suspension is in good order. The steering is neutral and smooth.
The white exterior of the vehicle is in above average condition for the age and miles. It has the usual small blemishes that accumulate from normal use, but does not have any larger spots of damage (see pics). All of the trim is in good order and firmly attached. The running boards are in good condition. The alloy wheels are in excellent shape; they are not scratched up and have a full set of centercaps. The wheels are wrapped in a matching set of Goodyear Wrangler tires with 75% or more tread left. These tires are a bit noisy and harsh due to the aggressive tread that will give good grip in snow or off-road conditions.
The interior of this Ford is likewise in above average condition for the age. The perforated leather seats are all in good condition. There are no holes or tears, just the usual wear marks. The front seats are power adjustable in a dozen directions. The rear seats fold flat to make a large cargo area. The carpets are in good condition. There is some discoloration. There is a full set of vinyl floor mats. The power mirrors and locks work as they should. The power windows all work from the driver's seat, but do not respond to the individual controls on the other doors. The power sunroof works as it should; it tilts, slides, and closes easily. The factory radio has been replaced with a Pioneer CD player with excellent sound quality. The A/C blows ice cold. The fan works in all positions at all speeds. The rear climate control works as well.
This Explorer is well optioned and has been well cared for. Pride of ownership from it's previous owners is evident throughout. This is a vehicle that does not show its age or miles and should give it's new owner plenty of service.
This vehicle has a PA annual safety and emmissions inspection good throught the end of August 2012.

Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
