1985 Porsche 928s S3 v8 auto 84k miles, 2 titled owners, local car,silver/grey with burgundy leather interior,genuine original car totally stock and unmodified. I have owned this car since 2010 , prior to that it was in heated storage for 8 yrs.on a horse farm and only driven once or twice a month on a private road to keep things operational. It was supplied new in Richmond Va. .It starts ,runs ,shifts,handles very well, it has the usual power options plus sunroof. Body is rust free,has some minor body dings,stone chips on paint and windshield. 90% original paint,(roof repainted due to clear coat fade)not a perfect match. Interior- seats,door panels,carpet in good order,rear 1/4 panels have been recovered,leather dash was in poor condition so has had a dash cover installed. No electrical issues and the wiring is good. Tires have good tread with even wear but are 10 years old. These cars are really neat but are not for everyone, they are well supported on the web. For the mechanically inclined and enthusiast only, due to the cost of parts and maintenance. If you want an excellent example expect to pay twice what I am asking! This one looks good and is very presentable and makes an excellent Sunday driver. It has a recent virginia state inspection Parts/repairs in the last year /1000 miles -- timing belt ,tensioners water pump, battery, fuel pump,drivers inner door mechanism,steering rack boots,wipers ,oil @ filters, rear gate mechanism Things not working-AC all parts are there. The original Blaupunkt radio is shot Trip meter/odometer now broken (zeroed while moving last month,causes them to fail) It has very little service history , but is a nice original example of a now appreciating classic. The cruise control is not working (may be a fuse). Fuel gauge is reading erratically,does not move above 1/4 full ( stuck float or bad ground). Maintains correct coolant temp. Excellent oil press. idles at 3bars, runs at 5 bars. Battery does not drain or go flat. Motor mounts are good. The clock works. In the right hands this could be a great car for not a whole lot of money.
