1967 Volvo P1800 with Air conditioning and 4 Speed w/Overdrive Estate Sale of the Original Owner/One Owner This Unique find, was bought Brand New in Sweden, toured through Europe and then shipped back to Southern California. It had lived in Southern California until 1999. Now located in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California where it has been garaged to date. It is now part of the Estate of the original owner. It has been in the garage and not driven for the past five years. After Charging the Battery, Draining the Gas and adding 5 Gallons Gas it started right up with no smoke or unusual noises. This is a very nice, very clean original car. Please view the pictures for I have only washed and vacuumed this car. It has been driven less than 5,000 Miles since 1991and since 1991 to 2001 it has had meticulous repairs from Certified Volvo Repairs Shops; Carburetors Rebuilt, New Clutch, New Distributor, Motor Mounts, Exhaust System, Complete Front Suspension Overhaul, Ball Joints, Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushings. New Radiator and Generator. Air Conditioning was added in 1996 with R134 Freon, that works perfectly as well. (I have ALL records) I just install a New Fuel Pump as the original leaked. I have driven it about 50 miles and was unable to find anything else required to drive this car to your home. I was told it was repainted in the 90’s but paint and body look new. This would be a great car for Shows or Rally’s as it handle great and sounds wonderful and……. has Air Conditioning! The flaws I can find are few; Exterior, Small Scratch on Right Front Fender, Paint Bubble on Driver’s Door, Side Chrome Molding have door ding dents and Right Rear Bumper is showing some Chrome lifting. Interior, Right Door Pad has small cracking on arm rest (taped black) Rear Seat Top small cracking (taped black) and Dash has Cracking above Steering Wheel. (99% of dash perfect, it does come with dash fabric cover) Mechanically, Speedometer Needle Fluctuates, Water Temperature Gauge Reads 50 deg high (reads 230 deg when at 180deg, reads 150 deg before started) In other words, it would take very little for this car to be flawless. This Car has nice Michelin XZX Tires (age unknown) Comes with Car Cover, Factory Service Manual, Seat and Steering Wheel Covers. Notice the Original Leather Luggage Belts in Back.
