1996 Toyota Rav4 runs great but requires maintenance. I would like to keep this car, I've been using it for local travel for many years, but we are moving to the east coast and the car is too old to handle the trip. Vehicle was inspected by very reputable local mechanic and he found the following problems; 1) Leaks in engine, transmission and fuel pump. 2) Right front axle boot needs grease repacked. The mechanic provided an inspection summary and gave me a verbal estimate to fix the leaks of $800 to $1500. A copy of the summary will be given to the buyer. The leak repairs are optional as long as you keep a close eye on the fluids, but the axle repair should definitely be done. Has the in-dash cup holders and console storage box which are hard to find on '96 Ravs. I've also added two non-OEM cup holders and rain shields for the side windows. Rear window has window tint that was mostly but not completely removed. Because we are moving soon, the car must be picked up within 3 days of auction close, or the sale will be cancelled.
