This is a hard to find 74 toyota Hilux pickup with the gas engine 2.0L 4spd manual transmission. The truck had sat for a couple years after the previous owner passed away. I bought it from his son and put new points, rotor , cap ,plugs ,wires and cleaned the carb out. Truck runs and drives. When its cold it has to turn over several times to start but after that it will start right up when warm. Truck doesnt overheat or use oil. It had been well taken care of by the previous owner who primarily used the truck to drive a mile down the road to the lake and back. It is an old truck and has some minor issues. The radio doesnt work,brakes need work, the wipers are slow,needs a new exhaust gasket, rust in drivers floorboard that has a patch on it, tires are old and starting to dry rot but they hold air and have some more life left in them. Other than the floorpan the truck is solid. The paint is faded and showing primer in spots has been sanded down, not original paint. With a little work it could be a dependable daily driver This would be a good farm truck or gas saver. I am located in Theodosia, Mo 65761 on bull shoals lake.
