Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 2002 Dodge Durango RT, black with black/grey leather interior. Runs great, strong engine. The R/T came with an impressive sounding exhaust system that is like no other Durango! We bought this Durango last year as a hedge for our Ford Mustang in Indiana winters... if you are in the midwest, you know this winter wasn't a strong as most, so the Durango became a commuter car for us. Most of the miles we put it on were between South Bend and Valpo (interstate miles). On these commutes, I could get up to 17 mpg, but around town it went down. Definitely not a gas sipper, but a great, power SUV. 3rd row seating. We have the third row folded down 99.9% of the time, and you can't even tell (stow away). Great storage room. Trailer package. We've never used. Upgraded in the past year: new upgraded leaf springs in the back, upgraded thermostat, new driver's side power window. Chrome rims, upgraded tires. What it needs: the passenger window intermittently works. It rolls up and down sometimes, but other times not. The cost of the driver's side was $265 complete; I usually am alone and therefore didn't feel the need to get it done. Just recently, the rear speed sensor started going out. I called the Dodge/Jeep dealer who did the window, and they quoted me 198 to fix. Local shop quoted $38 for part, $60 for labor. Upgraded stereo with AUX input for iPod or phone. We're getting rid of because we have 2 drivers and 3 cars... and if I'm going to make a case for a new motorcycle, one toy has to go! This is a fun one, I hate to see it go, but someone else will get more use out of it than us! KBB lists the value of this truck at 6100 (excellent) to 5300 (good). I'd say its in the middle... the driver's seat has been sat in (obviously) and so could be covered or redone. Aftermarket lights replaced broken lights... I personally don't like the look of them but someone did. Ready to ride! Cash or cashier's check only... no payments, no personal checks. Good luck! On May-22-12 at 12:42:40 PDT, seller added the following information: *** PLEASE NOTE *** eBay won't let me change the information in the listing.... I missed a "0" in the milage listing (this should be obvious from the year, price, etc). It should be 140412 (a bit more now, my wife still drives). Please email me with any questions. Thank you to the buyer/bidder who noted this mistake!!!!!! On Jun-11-12 at 06:36:55 PDT, seller added the following information:Please do not bid or purchase if you do not intend to buy. I have already "sold" this truck twice to people who either (1) failed to pay or (2) attempted to scam with fake payment. The scam was turned over to authorities. Please don't waste time.
