1968 Triumph TR250, one of approx. 8500 built. Car has been in dry storage for the past 29 years and odometer shows 6977 miles but is not believed to be actual. The orginal color was jasmine but was repainted red. The interior is black with white piping and believed to be orginal. Carpet (red shag) was thrown away. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition. The engine runs well with no smoke observed. The oil pressure shows 50-60lbs.at idle and 75-80 at 2500lbs. The compression readings are as follows: #1-190, #2-190, #3-185, #4-185, #5-190, #6-190. The clutch hydraulics have been renewed and work correctly. Engine bay is extremely orginal including hoses and clamps,even the alternator which works correctly. All the gauges function with possible exception of the fuel gauge. Body is in good condition but is in need of full restoration. Hood and trunk need repair and rust holes in rear panel (often found). Trunk floor and floors are solid with tennisball size hole in front driver's side floor. Inner and outer rockers appear to be solid but would need to be stripped of paint and undercoating to verify. Frame is solid with the exception of the left and right trail arm boxes.Windshield is cracked and would need replacing. Good red line Michelins are mounted on optional wire wheels.
