This is a beautiful 1976 Porsche 911S 2.7L 6 Cylinder 5 speed manual. The most noticeable single factor that makes this vehicle stand out from all the other 911’s from this era is the amazing color! In 1976 MINERVA BLUE (paint code 304) was a factory special order color for additional $800 which makes it very rare. This 911S starts right up without any hesitation like it did back in ’76. Great clutch, no brake issues and all matching Definity VX700 P195/55R15 tires. The body is in amazing condition with only minor imperfections. The car is extremely fun to drive has no suspension or any otherwise unpleasant noises. All electrical is in working order including power windows, power sunroof and mirrors. STORY BEHIND THE CAR:We purchased the vehicle here in town from a 73 year old Gentleman who can no longer enjoy the car due to health issues. We were able to find and communicate with the restorer that gave this vehicle a complete makeover in 2007 including powertrain and body (right around $21k worth of reconditioning). This shop only restores vintage Porsches and is well known in the industry. The owner who personally worked on this car told us that the car was rescued from an old garage in Terre Haute Indiana where it sat for 18 years, which in turn would explain the low 65k miles.
