Vehicle Detail
. MOTIVATED SELLER !!!!!! THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE $50,000.00 DOLLAR SHOW CARS. IT IS JUST A FUN DRIVER + A REALLY SHARP MUSTANG V-8 RAGTOP! Inspect first, Bid second I bought this during the last year and I am looking to turn some cash around to pay some bills so it must go. Someone will get a real sweet 1967 Mustang :GTA” clone convertible. This is a nice running car with the Optional 289 V8 Other options are Power steering , automatic transmission, Power Top And More !!!! I have about 20,000.00 into the car but must sell due to some recent expenses coming up. 300. deposit due immediatly following auction end. Please read complete listing before bidding. Looking to get sold regardless of what I have in it !!!! Looking for a serious buyer. Serious offer considered. The engine sounds nice and runs smooth. Sounds Awesome with the flowmaster dual exhaust. The transmission shifts very nice. The car is also equipped with Power steering along with a power convertible top. For other Options It also has the a rare Tilt Wheel and-Tilt - Away steering wheel along with the center console. . The car has a working factory AM radio but needs an antenna. The horn and e brake are inop. The heater blower motor works as do the wipers. The rear right small quarter window doesn’t look to move. I’m told by the last owner that the motor is the original 289. I never cared about numbers so your welcome to come and check for yourself if it matters to you. Also the previous owner started the resto by having the underside replaced as needed. It has had some replacement floor pans. It looks to have been done neatly The rear frame rails look original and look nice and solid. The door gaps look nice and the doors open and close well. The underside looks good but as pictured it could use some cleaning up and maybe some black paint. It has a solid looking trunk also. The car is the original red with a black ragtop as it came NEW. I had it painted last year a base-coat clear coat which was sanded and buffed. It has a real nice shine. The trim tag under the hood also says that the Tilt Away – Tilt wheel came with the car as an option NEW. There are also some extra parts that will come along with the car. This is a nice fun car but could still use alittle tlc to get it to your own taste. I didn’t spend the early years with the car to know for sure about the mileage but I’m told the 96,111 is the original miles. The car also has the Optional “GT” signal hood. I added the dual cut out rear valance panel. There is a scratch I see a couple inched long on the rear quarter and a few minor chips from use but the car shows very nice. The interior received New front seat covers along with a New carpet and sill plates. The car also received New front + rear bumpers. Also New outside door handles, and a New left hand outside remote mirror and lower rocker panel moldings. Also included is a set of New tail light chrome bezels. The car also has red line tires but would handle nicer with radials. For wheel covers I also put on a set of New simulated Magnum wheels. The exhaust has Flowmaster mufflers. The dual exhaust is New from the motor back last fall. The body had some rust behind the rear wheels so there was a lower quarter patch panel that was used. The body shows pretty nice and the car has a Base-coat clear paint which was sanded and buffed. I also added some “GTA” emblems to the front fenders because I liked the way it looks. It is not a GTA. The convertible top was also replaced last year along with the convertible top pads and rear window. The top is power and works well. I drove the car on a transport plate so I never registered it so I will give the paperwork to the new buyer just signed as I got it. You can fill in your name in the buyers section. In Connecticut for vehicles under 1980 and down our titles and registration are one in the same. Ownership transfer is done on a connecticut Q1 form in the ownership transfer section. So besides a Bill of sale it will be accompanied with this ownership transfer paperwork. If you check with the dmv in your state you will see that this is all that is necessary to get plates. Then a title will be issued to you in your name once registered. Please come inspect the car to be sure it meets all your expectations. This description is mearly my opinion. The only way to know if you like it is to see it or send an independent inspector to look at it. Feel free to bring your mechanic. 300.00 deposit is due immediately following the auction end. Balance due within 5 days. Selling as is A check is fine but will need atleast one to two weeks to clear my bank before car or paperwork leaves. This is what my bank has told me. Cash if you are looking to pick up the car personally. PLEASE ONLY BID WHAT YOU WANT TO PAY ! PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!! On Jun-04-12 at 19:27:51 PDT, seller added the following information: THANKS FOR ALL THE COMPLIMENTS AND QUESTIONS. ANY OTHERS PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS
