This was the last year of Shelby’s direct involvement in the GT-500, with the Le Mans winning original design and a beast of a 427 side-oiler type motor. Restored by world renowned Terry Scarborough Restorations at Sears Pt. Raceway and finished in pristine Wimbledon White with the EXACT and CORRECT stripe code, beautiful Le Mans Blue. It was built with the best mechanical and suspension parts available today, to weigh less, accelerate hard, and steer like a modern car.
