This is truely a rare vehicle and you won't be dissappointed if you're a fan of the FJ80 Diesel. This is listed as a "NO RESERVE" vehicle and the highest bidder WILL WIN! This project was alot of fun and I've decided to start on my next project so this animal has to go. As the second owner, I converted it to a Diesel from factory Gasoline using the GM 6.5L Turbo Diesel V8. The Chassis has 268K miles however the engine only has 87K miles on it. When doing this conversion, many items were intstalled new and once finished, the entire conversion now only has 3000 miles on it. Included in the conversion is a rebuilt 4 speed 4L80e transmission on the factory transfer case with adapter from Advanced Adapters with the PCM Computer. Factory electrical locking front and rear differentials, brand new Peninsular mechanical diesel injection system including pump, lines and injectors. New Alternator, power steering pump, vacuum pump, radiator, glow plug controller and many other hoses, lines and wiring. 3.5" mandral bent custom exhaust system that gives this rig a sweet sound. All the factory guages work properly. The Air Conditioning compressor is installed, however it still requires a custom made hose to get working. The same is required for the Cruise Control, as it needs a special wiring plug made. 5 new General Grabber tires installed after conversion (3000 miles) The Interior is in good shape with everything factory original. There is the normal wear you would expect for a vehicle this age, however not excessive. The paint has normal chips and road wear, however No Dents. The oil cooler has a minor leak and the radio antenna is is broke and the radio should be replaced. The Exterior is dent free and great shape for a vehicle 19 years old. Some minor rust is starting around bottom of 3 doors but easily repairable. See photos attached. I reserve the right to cancel bidders with zero or negative feedback. The rebuilt transmission is electronically controlled and the PCM computer that controls it is fully adjustable from your laptop. Factory electronic front, rear and center locking differentials.
