1994 Ford Mustang GT Convertible Laser Red Metallic with White Leather Interior and White Convertible Top 5.0 V8 and 5-Speed Manual Transmission Excellent Original Condition with Only 21,718 Documented Original Miles This 1994 Ford Mustang GT Convertible is an outstanding example of the final generation of Mustangs to use Ford's legendary 5.0 (302) Windsor V8 engine, coupled here to a 5-speed manual transmission. Finished in stunning original Laser Red metallic paint with a white leather interior and white convertible top, it has covered only 21,718 documented miles since new and is in excellent original condition. 1994 and 1995 Mustang GTs are some of the most desirable "modern classic" Mustangs, combining the wide range of improvements that came with the 1994 redesign (chosen by Motor Trend as its 1994 Car of the Year) with the last ever use in a Mustang of the Windsor V8 engine, whose Mustang heritage goes all the way back to the original Mustang introduced in 1964. This car was equipped from the factory with desirable options including air conditioning, cruise control, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, glass rear window with defroster, leather interior, power driver's seat, premium Mach 460 AM/FM stereo with cassette player and additional optional CD player, and 17-inch alloy wheels. We are the car's second owners, having purchased it in 1996 with only 6,000 miles from the general manager of a local Ford dealer whose personal car it was. Since then it has been part of a small collection. It has always been meticulously maintained, dealer serviced, garage kept, never used as a daily driver or in bad weather, and it has never been in an accident. We are selling it to make room for a new addition to our collection. The car is completely original except for the following: An aftermarket keyless entry and alarm system was added by the dealer when we bought the car in 1996. We replaced the original 17" alloy wheels and Goodyear Eagle ZR Gatorback tires with genuine Ford Motorcraft 17" polished alloy wheels and Bridgestone Potenza RE730 tires. Both sets of wheels and tires are included with the car. Because the original CD player no longer works, we replaced the original factory audio head unit with a new Kenwood unit with CD player, Bluetooth and USB/AUX input. The original CD player (non-working) is still installed, but you can replace it with a blanking plate if so desired. The original head unit, which still works, is also included and can be re-installed if you would prefer to maintain an original appearance (however, you would then have to replace the CD player to play CDs). With the exception of the non-working original CD player, the car has no problems that we are aware of, and it has been completely reliable in the 16 years we have owned it. The car is complete including the original carpet floor mats, convertible top boot, owner's manual, and service records. The car has a clean title history and a current New York State registration and safety inspection. Please remember that while this car is in excellent condition, it is still a used car, and therefore has wear consistent with its age and (very low) mileage; e.g. small rock chips on front bumper, wear on leather upholstery, etc. We believe this listing is a fair and accurate representation of the car and its condition, to the best of our knowledge. Full payment via cashier's check is required within 7 days of the close of the auction, or via cash at the time of pick-up if the buyer chooses to pick the car up in person.
