Each vehicle I sell is thoroughly road tested before it is offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am basically a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Every vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and examine each of the photos carefully BEFORE bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gas sipping 1994 Toyota Corolla sedan. The Corolla has been around for decades and has a solid reputation as a reliable and economical vehicle. As you can see, this one is not likely to get you any trophies at the Corolla show. I would rate the exterior condition of this one as BELOW AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in a mint green color that has suffered the same fate as many older Toyota vehicles. The paint is faded and oxidized on the hood, roof and trunk. The front bumper cover is also cracked. This is all cosmetic...nothing major. If you're fine with a little bit of "ugly", you've found your car! These are known to rust significantly...but this one shows no rust on the body. The wheel covers are all still present. The tires show deep tread all around. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Again, she isn't a real looker but if you want a reliable car that won't break the bank...you can get a pretty good deal. I would also rate the interior condition of this Corolla to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The seats are not torn or anything but they do show wear as you'd expect on a higher mileage vehicle, as do the carpets and plastics. The drivers door panel is loose and the interior handle is broken...although you can get in and out with no problems. The drivers window is off the track, the left rear does not work...both right windows work properly. The stereo is original. Besides missing a knob, it is fine and still works properly. The climate control system appears to be working. The a/c compressor does kick on but the air is not cold so it probably needs charged. The cargo area is respectable for a smaller vehicle. The original owners books are included. There is a mild smoke odor in the interior. I don't get into cleaning/detailing. An afternoon of cleaning wouldn't hurt...and I can recommend some odor products and techniques to the new owner as well if this bothers you. Overall, I think this Corolla is in decent shape considering the miles and age. Mechanically, this Corolla appears to be in good running and driving condition. This is why you buy one of these cars. The 1.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. She purrs like a kitten and keeps a nice cool temperature at all times. The suspension feels tight all around. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes show a mild pulsation under load but it isn't bad...i've driven much worse. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. She drives nice and strait down the road with no complaints. This little Corolla definitely isn't for everyone. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
