Each vehicle I sell is thoroughly road tested before it is offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am basically a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Each vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully, read my terms & conditions and examine each of the photos BEFORE bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 2002 Mercury Mountaineer AWD. I've had a few Mountaineers and I prefer them over the Explorer just because they seem to be better taken care of than most Explorers for some reason. I would rate the exterior condition of this Mountaineer to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking truck. The two tone beige exterior looks great and is complimented with matching two tone interior. The body of this truck looks great. Of course, one should expect to find some signs of wear associated with normal daily use. I could find no visible damage to the exterior of this vehicle. The paint shines very well and looks good from any angle. Other than one small scuff on the right front corner, the bumpers don't even show any signs of abuse. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look great. The tires are on the thin side of average and will most likely need replaced for inspection. This Mountaineer is equipped with running boards which make entry and exit easier for shorter drivers/passengers. There is a towing hitch at the rear, too. I would rate the interior of this Mountaineer to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you open the drivers door, you are greeted by a rich leather trimmed interior. The door panels are all clean and intact. The carpets are full looking and show well throughout the interior, too. There is a small amount of normal wear on the drivers seat but nothing major. Both front seats are power operated and heated. Access to the third row of seats is easy...and they fold in a second to open up an impressive cargo area (seats fold easily from both the front and rear). The cargo area is clean as well. This Mountaineer is loaded with features and options. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The premium audio system with CD sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. There are steering wheel controls for the climate control and audio systems. This Mountaineer comes with three keys and two remotes to the factory remote entry system which works properly. Mechanically, this Mountaineer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. It has a current PA safety inspection. This Mountaineer drives very well. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this SUV with no noise or vibrations. During my time driving this vehicle, the engine kept proper temperature and good oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts fine. Out on the highway, this SUV cruises nice and strait with no complaints. The AWD system appears to be working properly. Accepted Payment Methods: Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw. Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later. All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. I buy fresh trades from larger dealerships and resell them directly to the public. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of buying a vehicle. Each vehicle I sell is thoroughly road tested before it is offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am basically a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Each vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description carefully, read my terms & conditions and examine each of the photos BEFORE bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a very nice 2002 Mercury Mountaineer AWD. I've had a few Mountaineers and I prefer them over the Explorer just because they seem to be better taken care of than most Explorers for some reason. I would rate the exterior condition of this Mountaineer to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking truck. The two tone beige exterior looks great and is complimented with matching two tone interior. The body of this truck looks great. Of course, one should expect to find some signs of wear associated with normal daily use. I could find no visible damage to the exterior of this vehicle. The paint shines very well and looks good from any angle. Other than one small scuff on the right front corner, the bumpers don't even show any signs of abuse. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look great. The tires are on the thin side of average and will most likely need replaced for inspection. This Mountaineer is equipped with running boards which make entry and exit easier for shorter drivers/passengers. There is a towing hitch at the rear, too.
I would rate the interior of this Mountaineer to be ABOVE AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you open the drivers door, you are greeted by a rich leather trimmed interior. The door panels are all clean and intact. The carpets are full looking and show well throughout the interior, too. There is a small amount of normal wear on the drivers seat but nothing major. Both front seats are power operated and heated. Access to the third row of seats is easy...and they fold in a second to open up an impressive cargo area (seats fold easily from both the front and rear). The cargo area is clean as well. This Mountaineer is loaded with features and options. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The premium audio system with CD sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ice cold air. There are steering wheel controls for the climate control and audio systems. This Mountaineer comes with three keys and two remotes to the factory remote entry system which works properly.
Mechanically, this Mountaineer appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. It has a current PA safety inspection. This Mountaineer drives very well. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this SUV with no noise or vibrations. During my time driving this vehicle, the engine kept proper temperature and good oil pressure. There were no warning lights on. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts fine. Out on the highway, this SUV cruises nice and strait with no complaints. The AWD system appears to be working properly. There are no known mechanical issues with this vehicle. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
