Up for No Reserve auction is a very nice classic of a Toyota, an 89 Camry Wagon. This car is overall in excellent shape for the age, and considering it is over 20 years old, has low miles. This is a good example of a well made car that has been well cared for. I have been told that this car has been dealer serviced its entire life and I believe it. Looking under the hood every part I see is Toyota branded or made by Denso, the main supplier of parts to the Toyota factory and dealers. Even basic wear items that you can easily get at AutoZone like the battery, alternator, starter, and belts. There is even a Toyota oil filter! Pride of ownership shows throughout the car. This car has been owned by the same lady since the 90s. It has driven less than 60,000 miles since 1998. The exterior is in above average condition for the age. The white paint does not have any noteworthy scratches or dents. All of the glass and lights are clear and have no cracks. There is a matching set of hubcaps and the steel wheels are wrapped in a set of quality Michelin radials with very deep tread. The burgundy interior is likewise in above average condition. The seats do not have any rips or holes. The cushions are quite comfortable. The vinyl headliner is in excellent condition. The door panels are solid and the dash has no cracks. The carpets do not have any holes and there is a full set of floor mats. The 2.0L 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission are in good running order. This drivetrain is what Toyota's reputation for reliability, easy of service, and fuel efficiency was built on. The suspension is in excellent condition. The steering wheel is perfectly centered and there is no looseness, clunking, or pulling at all. The brakes stop the car well. This car has excellent road manners and drives better than many cars a quarter it's age with half the miles. This car was pretty well optioned for it's day. It has power windows and locks, which work as they should. A premium AM/FM cassette stereo with the optional headliner mounted rear speakers that has good sound quality. It has cruise control, intermittent wipers, and a rear wiper. The driver's seat has multiple manual adjustments: forward and back, recline, raise, and tilt. The air conditioner blows cold and works flawlessly. This is not a museum car or something you'd see at a Barrett Jackson auction. It has real world wear but it is the nicest Camry of it's generation that I have seen in years. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed, written, or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
