1987 Buick Regal-T 1987 Buick Regal-T Click On Images to Enlarge For more pictures, please click here:Additional Photos I bought this car about ten years ago thinking I would fix it up and take it to area car shows. Well, I did fix it up and I did take it to a few shows (even won a trophy) but I find I don't really have the time to continue doing this so I've decided to let this gem go. Even though I have approximately $10,000 invested in this car, it really needs to be seen and driven to be truly appreciated. It should not be hidden away in my shop. This 1987 Buick Regal-T is equipped with a 3.5" down-pipe with turbo waste gate, Bilsten gas shocks, adjustable rear air shocks, and a Buick ScanMaster (see photos). I bought this car to make it car-show ready, not as an everyday commute car. I had both front and rear windshields replaced as well as all door & trunk seals. Also had all the common wear items in the front-end suspension replaced (e.g. ball-joints, tie-rod ends, shocks, Etc.). As for the interior, the sun visors, headliner, and dash hood vinyl needed attention so these were replaced too. The vehicle has been kept indoors, well maintained, and does not burn oil. Oh, and boy does IT GO! The airconditioner has been upgraded to use R134 refrigerant rather than the outlawed R12. There's not much need for an air conditioner in Rhode Island but the last time I used it, it worked just fine. So if you live in a warmer climate, you'll not only look cool you can be cool in this car. I believe the interior color is burgundy. Here are the particulars: Year: 1987 Model: Regal-T Make: Buick Body Style: Coupe 2D Engine: 3.8L V6 SFI - Turbo charged w/Intercooler Mileage: 138,459 VIN: 1G4GJ1178HP433254 Headliner: Recently Replaced Door/Trunk seals: Recently Replaced Dash vinyl: Recently Replaced Sun Visors: Recently Replaced Battery: New 2012 Tire condition/wear: Good Front Suspension Common Wear Components: Recently Replaced Owned vehicle: 10 years Title: Clear Transmission: Automatic with B&M Super Cooler Does not burn oil A/C (upgraded to R134) Electric windows (All work) No cracked or chipped glass Door, hood, trunk latches all work well Original keys/locks. Other than that, I feel no other body work is needed. It's impossible to think of all the questions a potential bidder might have so if I've failed to address anything else you might be wondering about, please don't hesitate to ask through eBay messaging. However, please allow adequate time for me to get back to you. Questions sent within the last eight (8) hours of the auction may be too late to be answered in time. Also, if you are an active bidder and would like pictures of something not depicted in the ad, please give me at least 36 hours advance notice. Conditions permitting, I'll be happy to take custom photos for you. This car is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early should I receive a serious and binding offer. Having been with Ebay for a while, I've learned that the vast majority of folks bidding on Ebay are honest, responsible, and fair minded people. So please understand that the (fine print) policies outlined below are NOT directed at those of you who represent the "good faith" majority. Sections 1-7 below are only intended to address possible misunderstandings. 1) Shipping - Buyer will be responsible for shipping and insurance costs related to this item. Shipping costs will be limited to actual costs as quoted by the buyer's carrier of choice. For larger items that must go by freight (>100 Lbs) additional crating and packing costs may apply. Depending on the method of shipment and distance, it is sometimes difficult to predict these charges in advance. However, seller will work with buyer to find the most economical solution. And again, only actual charges will apply. Loss or Damage occurring in transit will be the responsibility of the shipper, not the seller. It is for this reason that the seller suggests the buyer request adequate shipping insurance. 2) Reserve Auctions - In those cases where a reserve has been set, it is important to understand why this will not be disclosed to bidders who request it. This is simply a case of fairness and ethics. If only some of the bidders know what the reserve is they will have an unfair bidding advantage over those who don't. So please do not request that I disclose this. Thanks :-) 3) Communications - Due to the anonymous nature of on-line auctions, quality communication is key. If a bidding error or dispute occurs or there are circumstances that may delay or prevent completion of a transaction, proactive and timely communication from the bidder will be given the highest consideration. 4) Photos - Every effort has been made to produce accurate photographs of the items listed. Flash photography often causes glare, reflection, and distortion. Therefore, it is only used when absolutely necessary. Natural lighting sources are used for most photos. Other than sizing, cropping, exposure, and background removal, photos are not altered in any way. Seller reserves the right to use published photos in lieu of actual photos but will disclose this practice in the ad. Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop me a note. 5) FDA Compliance - Where applicable, some items fall under FDA guidelines. In such cases, it may be necessary to verify the buyer's qualification to receive regulated items. The policies outlined in sections 6 & 7 below are only necessary to discourage "Insincere", "Careless" or "Non-Paying" bidders. 6) For items selling for less than $1,000, the winning bidder will be expected to pay the balance of the winning price within seven (7) business days of auction close in order to avoid negative feedback. Although this is an "As Is / As Described" sale, the purchase price (less shipping) will be 100% refundable provided buyer, or buyer's authorized agent, can demonstrate within 30 days of taking possession that the item was intentionally misrepresented in the ad. Once the item is returned in acceptable condition a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping) will be issued within five (5) business days of item receipt. 7) For large items or items selling for more than $1,000, the winning bidder will be expected to pay a deposit within three (3) business days of auction close in order to bind the transaction and avoid negative feedback. This is an "As Is / As Described" sale, neither deposit and/or purchase price will be refundable unless the buyer, or buyer's authorized agent, can, within seven (7) days clearly demonstrate the item was in some way intentionally misrepresented in the ad. Additionally, item must be returned in acceptable condition before a refund of the purchase price will be considered. Buyer also has the option to perform or have an independent third party perform an on-site inspection of item prior to payment of balance. However, this option must be exercised within five (5) calendar days of auction close. Failure to meet these terms may result in a forfeiture of the deposit. Non-cash payments must clear before item can be shipped or delivered. Payment is expected within five (5) business days of auction close :-). Shipping Info: For items eligible for shipment, I can offer UPS®Priority/Express U.S. Mail™ FedEx®. Please indicate your preference and I will do my very best to use that carrier. I make every attempt to limit shipping costs to the actual amount charged by the shipper and will be happy to provide proof of these charges upon request. I rarely charge any handling fees and when I do, this will be clearly indicated in the ad. Everything will be packed with the greatest of care but insurance for your shipment is highly recommended. I cannot be responsible for shipping damage.
