Each vehicle I sell is thoroughly road tested before being listed so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am basically a wholesaler, not a mechanic. Every vehicle I sell is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, read my terms & conditions and examine each of the photos closely before bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a solid 1993 Dodge Dakota LE. I've always been a Ford guy but, I must admit, I've never had a Dodge truck I've been disappointed with...and this one is no exception. This truck has the desirable V8 engine AND long bed which makes this an incredibly versatile truck. I would rate the exterior condition of this Dakota to be AVERAGE for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see from the photos, this is a sharp looking truck. It is finished in a two tone dark green over tan with matching tan interior. Of course, there are some typical flaws as you would expect on any used truck. The roof is painted flat, which is common on Dodge's as the clear coat...then paint tends to chip off the roof. There is a spot on the drivers door where the clear coat is flaking. There is a dent on the left front fender at the parking light. Body rust is minimal...showing only a small spot or two. There is some previously repaired fender rust on the bed which is also common. Overall, this truck has aged pretty well. The alloy wheels look good and are wrapped in good rubber all around. The underside looks good, too. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. Overall, this is a sharp looking little truck and would make a great work truck but looks good enough to drive every day. I would also rate the interior of this truck as AVERAGE CONDITION for a truck of this age and mileage. Inside, it's pretty basic. The carpets show some stains and wear as does the seat. Nothing terrible for an older truck, though... This truck is optioned with air conditioning but the compressor does not kick on. The dash is not cracked. The original manuals come with the truck. The stereo is the original unit which still sounds good. The sliding rear window does not lock. Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 318ci V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I was very impressed with how well this truck drove. The front end is nice and tight. The brakes feel good. The steering is neutral and responsive. I was told that this truck was driven daily by its previous owner and that he kept up with all needed service...and it shows. The engine keeps perfect temperature and great oil pressure. The transmission was rebuilt in 2006 by a reputable local shop. The paperwork for the transmission rebuild is included with the owners books. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours, we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accomidating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you may show up and no one is here.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Vehicle will be immediately available for pick up if paid by cash in person. Payments made by wire transfer, check (cashiers or personal), or money order will be subject to verification of funds by my bank. The vehicle and title will be held until all funds have been cleared by my bank and made available for withdraw.
Paypal is accepted for the initial deposit only...not the balance. This includes Bill Me Later.
All vehicles shall be removed within 14 days of auction's end. Any vehicle left longer than 14 days without arrangements being made prior to the end of the auction will be subject to a storage fee of $5/day.
Bid Retractions/Changes:
I take selling vehicles on eBay very seriously. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This descision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes regardless of any circumstance. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, each bidder enters into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should they be the successful bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully excercized their ability to complete any diligence needed prior to placing their bid.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 administrative fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any transfer costs incurred by the purchaser. The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
This auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.-->
