Each vehicle I sell is road tested before being offered for sale so I can tell you first hand how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am basically a wholesaler, not a mechanic or retail dealership. Each vehicle I sell is represented honestly and accurately to the best of my ability. Please take the time to read this entire description, review my terms & conditions and check out all of the photos carefully before bidding or asking questions. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Volvo S70 SE. I would rate the exterior condition of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, the dark blue finish looks good and has a deep shine. There are some noticable scratches on the right, rear door. Please also expect normal wear associated with a vehicle of this age. There are no major dents, scratches or other noteworthy damage to the exterior. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels look good. The tires are average all around. I would rate the interior of this Volvo S70 to be BELOW AVERAGE for the age and miles of this vehicle. There are some minor stains on the seats and door panels which look like they should easily come off with minimal effort. The drivers seat is worn excessively on the outer bolster. The other seats show well. Some of the door panels are showing shrinking of the leather which is a common Volvo issue. The carpets are dirty throughout and would benefit from a thorough cleaning. This car is equipped with the winter package which gives heated seats and front headlight washers. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work properly. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The stereo is the original Volvo system. The trunk is spacious. An afternoon of effort and some cleaner would make this look like a different car inside. Mechanically, this Volvo will need some attention. The one major advantage to this car is the low mileage. The 2.4L inline 5 cylinder engine starts easily but does not idle well. I've pulled the codes and everything points to an error with the crank position sensor. There were two current and two pending codes...all related to the crank sensor. As a result of this, the engine hesitates under load also. It keeps a steady temperature and the only codes were related to the crank sensor. Because of the engine hesitation, I was unable to drive this car as much as I normally do but I did drive it enough to get the basics. The suspension feels nice and tight. The steering and brakes feel good. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Again...as with the interior...a little sweat equity will probably net you a very nice, low mile Volvo. That is everything I know. I sell everything "as-traded" and have done no more diagnostic work besides reading the codes and driving it...like every other car I sell. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Volvo S70 SE. I would rate the exterior condition of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle.
