Vehicle Detail

NOTE: THIS IS A MECHANICS SPECIAL; THIS ENGINE SOUNDS AS THOUGH IT HAS A FAILING ROD BEARING WHICH WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE IT CAN BE CONSIDERED A ROAD WORTHY VEHICLE. BY THIS STATEMENT I OFFER THIS CAR 'AS IS' WITH A CLEAR CONSCIENCE. On the block is my 2000 Pontiac Bonneville. It has just over 260,000 miles on it as this was my road car when I was a field representative in the southwest US. 95% of those miles are highway miles, mostly on the interstate with the cruise control on. At 75 MPH the engine is running around 2,200 rpm. I've owned it since mile 5,858 and have had it on synthetic oil from that time. I had the transmission pressure purged every 50,000 miles and it still runs strong. Every feature on the vehicle works with a few exceptions, namely; the drivers seat heater is not functioning and the windows on the passenger side front and back are not operating. Otherwise the head-up display, CD/Cassette Audio system, Power Seats, Dual Zone AC/Heater Controls, Power Sunroof, Driver Info System, Gauges, especially that Supercharger Boost Gauge, all work as designed. I love this car and have many times challenged those who say 'Americans can't build good cars', I vehemently beg to differ. If I had the cash to have a Jasper Engine put in, I would!! SUPERCHARGED!In the last couple of years I have had the following work performed;* Completely new AC compressor and all components for proper operation.* New Front Wheel Bearings.* New Manifold Intake Gasket.* New Steering Rack & Pinion unit.* New Brake Discs and Pads.* Polishing of Front Headlamps.* New Serpentine Belt, Pulleys and Tensioner.* New Front Tires* New right Rear Stabilized Bar.* New Fuel Pump.* New Front Windshield.I hope you will see I maintained this car to last for the long run, but circumstances change. I'm trusting at least one of you will see this vehicle for the life it still has. With a rebuilt engine, the remainder of the vehicle has a lot of life remaining. Happy Bidding
