Here we have a 72 GMC 1/2 ton Short Wheel Base 4 Wheel Drive truck...Truck was a project I bought and never found the time to finish and with child number two coming in October it just keeps getting further down the list....The original body was shot so I disassembled the body only leaving the cab. I have a complete running driving 70 GMC Sierra Grande body that I was going to replace it with, which is included in the auction. The 70 has a good body and is a headliner equipped cab which is hard to find. The 72 was originally medium blue, but the 70 is dark olive and white and I was going to go with that color on the truck...I was going to cut out spot for the 4wd high hump and bolt the high hump back in its place as high humps where originally bolted in anyway. Truck comes with a GM good wrench crate motor that has less than 5000 miles on it( was in buddys truck and tree fell on it destroying truck and I traded him out of motor) and a 350 turbo/NP205 transfer case. Have lots of parts to go with the truck other than swapping the body wouldn't take much to make this a driver...would be a great father/son project and/or restoration on a rare truck. Truck was originally a 3spd on column, but tranny was missing when I purchased truck, so I decided to buy automatic stuff. thanks for looking and will try and answer any questions. Will help with loading if bought, please remember this is a project and there are two vehicles to move one frame and cab and the other a complete truck. Vehicle is for sale locally, retain the right to cancel auction when and if it sales locally. Will accept paypal for entire amount if fees are covered...add 3% If need be I could sit the other body on the 4wd frame and secure for shipping but it would be at the buyers expense and would delay shipping as I work out of town a lot.
